Enable the developper options, and turn off all screen animations. The phone will be much more snappy...I do that with all my samsung phones. There is no need for any flashy animations, they slow down the phone and even make me nauseaous.

Dodo, 02 Apr 2022I read about much lagging and stuttering while browsing web... moreOn first boot but it's gone after i updated the phone and apps. It's silky smooth now. However, as a long time android user. Keep in mind that this phone was just release last month. Usually new phones have bugs, but actually, i was impressed on how samsung addresses the bugs in this phone as compared to my old xiaomi. This is just a first update but it already feels stable. While xiaomi often times takes 3-6 months to stabilize their miui. And crazy thing is in their changelog it seems like they don't really fix anything because the bug fixes they list are weird and often times makes you wonder where did they get that issue lol. Usually xiaomi phones fucks up your device after a major android update. I have 3 xiaomi phones and observed that as a common pattern

But in reality once you have a bt earbuds it's hard to go back because most of the time their easier to use, either have the same quality and can be much better, and even budget bt earbuds like haylou can last you whole day

People who want to max out updates will choose the latest, people who are casual user and use phone for important matters. S20 fe in my country is sold for 320usd on sale but you'll lose 2 years of it's update. When i was a student all of my phones are mediatek, and yes it's popular to get hot, i have seen this hype every forums, youtube and facebook comments about snapdragon being superior and doesn't gets hot i'd say that's BS. It gets hot but you know why? What makes it hot was manufacturers who doesn't optimize their phones. So i realized that no matter how good your spec sheets are, how powerful it is in bench marks. A bad update will always make it feel like shit.

I believe some of them don't even own the phone... moreExactly, some people just spread misinformation (hell, sometimes even the masses), I’m still using an old zenfone max pro m1 (android 11, lineage os) as a dev phone and it is smooth without issues (quite a problematic phone according to a lot of people)

It is an android 11 related issue, android 12 is superb compared to 11 even with a lower end hardware, so once you upgrade to 12 it should in theory “fly” again
