Samsung Galaxy A55 and A35 launching on March 11 in India
Samsung India confirmed it will launch the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 on March 11 at 2:30 PM local time. The news comes after the two devices appeared in a plethora of leaks that detailed nearly everything about the two upcoming midrangers.
Galaxy A55 is expected to feature an Exynos 1480 chipset alongside a 6.5-inch FHD+ 120 Hz OLED screen, 50 MP main camera, and support for 25W wired charging. Galaxy A35 is rumored to bring an Exynos 1380 chipset, a 6.6-inch 120Hz FHD+ display and a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging.
In related news, Samsung also confirmed that both the A55 and A35 will receive 4 OS updates and 5 years of security patches. This matches the software support on the Galaxy A54 and A34.
The Galaxy S24 series remains the only trio of devices that are eligible for 7 generations of OS updates and 7 years of security patches for now.
