Samsung has lots of good features that China phones do not have. In addition, the chance of backdoor is low. Required by law, all Chinese companies are required to comply with Central intelligence department to release info (customer personal info???) when needed. Yes, Chinese phones are cheaper. You weigh the risk vs cheap.

And most of their profits in this division comes from highend mobiles, that are bought by comanies as work phones. Not cheap phones like this A72. They have to sell 10-15 A71s to make the same profit, as they do on one S21 ultra. And those are flying off the shelves.

China smartphones are good , cheap and high tech but maybe they will be banned from downloading many USA apps that most people relying on it in daily life ! That's the only advantage of samsung on China phones !If not samsung already bankrupted and shut down their mobile phone manufacturing site !

If samsung wants to be king of smartphone market again they should start lowering the price if like look at Samsung M51 with SD730g with price of 22k that's dumb if it's price was near 17k it would be superb

The Galaxy A90 and the S10 Lite, despite being midrangers with flagship specs for their time (or near that level) were neglected by the majority of the customers, and now we are paying for our mistakes at this point.
Check Antutu and Geekbench before you guys get hyped up about potential mid-range phones, especially sleeper hits like the S10 lite, for god's sakes.

What are your people blabbering about? Samsung A42 has a snapdragon 750g which is faster than any processor in the previous A line so A72 is going to have at least that or better. Maybe they will surprise us with an amazing Exynos chip since now their chips will be very competitive because they'll use ARMs proprietary design. So performance will definitely be improved.

All Chinese manufacturers opt for the latest and the best SoC you can get for the price but Samsung fails so hard at that that it leaves me speechless. Samsung unlike everyone else can design and manufacture they’re own chips plus they even make them for Qualcomm and Apple so you would expect Samsung phones to have good chips for the price but no. Literally the biggest and the only dealbreaker of buying Samsung phones in most of the world is their sh*t tier CPUs in overpriced midrange phones.

I was hoping to buy this device but, we don't not have 5G as yet in my country And there's rumors that the 4G variant will be getting a more inferior chip snapdragon 720G or 720 knowing that the A71 has the snapdragon 730 lmao, bye!! these people think we are stupid.

Only thing done right on em is camera and battery but battery life depends on more than just the battery.
