Samsung Galaxy A9 appears in unofficial video, compared to the A7

Peter, 15 December, 2015

The Samsung Galaxy A9 isn't missing, it's just fashionably late. Samsung unveiled the 2016 Galaxy A lineup with the A3, A5 and A7, holding back the A9 as its ace in the hole. The 6" slab couldn’t quite deal with the anonymity and after yesterday's extensive specs leak, now it shows up on video.

The video compares the Galaxy A9 to the Galaxy A7 (2016). You can see the big difference between 5.5" and 6", but other than that the design is largely unchanged.

The specs are pretty much the same as well – a 1080p Super AMOLED screen, octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM, 13MP camera with OIS and a fingerprint reader for Samsung Pay. The A9 is expected to launch around Christmas or in January and its price will likely top CNY 3,000/€430.

Naaaah, that's way too big. Look how tiny A-7 looks next to it despite the fact that A-7 itself is big 5.5' display phone.
