Overprized. The camera is bad and it drains battery quickly even my old low grade prism was better.

Something is wrong with the volume people can't hear me well.I have to repeat myself.
Very disappointed, I wish they can recall this phones so I can get a better one or at least fix my freaking problem. :-( :-(

Welp I am a complete speed junkie (you should see my comp) but I dont care when it comes to phones it works and good my review
1.Its fast (quad core 1.2)
2.16 gig memory after it all ends your get 11 gigs
3.the screen is about 4.6 its good for the price
4.And to end it Samsung knows how to do shit so look low end and it still is better than an ISHIT

It is great, l don't get a grainy display it's bright and brilliant every works great, l love this phone. Only thing is you cant use some functions when charging. Got it at costco, 216 + 25 rebate it also came with a car carger and stand. Not sure if you have to be on t-mobile to get it

Got this phone yesterday, and I really like it. I'm coming from a 2.3 Gingerbread device though, so my views are inflected by that. This is my first KitKat/Touchwiz phone, and I've gotta say, it's definitely a bang-for-your-buck phone. But... I still think the Moto G (2013/2014) is better simply because it's running stock and will get the Android L update.
I got this phone for only $49 upfront, no subsidy whatsoever (thank you retentions!), so keep that in mind as well. I normally wouldn't buy a low-end Samsung phone like this one for $100+, since I honestly don't think this phone is worth $200 or even $150. $40-$110 is around how much Samsung should be charging for it.
With that out of the way, this phone's battery is great. The screen-on-time quite good for a phone like this (I got around 4-5 hours on 56% battery the first time I used it) and mine only lost 5% of its battery when I took it out of charging and left it with the screen off (idle phone) today. If you're a light to medium user, you'll love the battery life. But... it has NO ambient light sensor! Shame.
On Antutu, my phone scored around 18886, which is decent, IMO. The screen brightness is great, and even though the resolution is only 960x540, and the technology used is TFT, images look great. I had no problems playing OR streaming HD videos on my phone (720p and 1080p).
I thought I'd hate Touchwiz, but this phone gave me hope for it! Yeah, Touchwiz is irritatingly invasive at times, and this phone probably only runs Touchwiz with very little lag because it's got 1.5GB of RAM, but you can turn most of its stupid features off... except Samsung's stupid "high volume" warning when you try to maximize the volume to its highest level with headphones on. You also can't get rid of S Finder and Quick Connect in the notification shade unless you root/flash another ROM...
...which brings me to the only thing I hate about this phone. The lack of ROMs! There are NO custom ROMs for this phone, which seriously sucks. So you might want to consider that before buying this phone.
So, if you care about stock Android, a 720p display, better camera and software support, go with the Moto G 2014! If you can get this phone at a decent price, or if you really love Samsung, Touchwiz, LTE and NFC for some reason, get this phone. If you really hate Samsung and Touchwiz but really want a 4G-capable phone, get one of the cheaper Sonys (Xperia E3, Xperia SP, Xperia M2, etc).

I got this phone when it first came out and I am pleased with it's performance, it's lighting fast and I have not experienced any freezing or slow down, (I have with more expensive phones), the camera, if set to the right settings, and there are many to choose from, takes good pictures, the phone is the perfect size and handles well,the sound quality in calls is fantastic, crisp and clear, the screen which some have called dull, is fine, the spec monsters must have bionic eyes, the battery, when set to power saving mode, even with moderate to heavy use, lasts all day,I purchased 2 of these phone, and I believe they are a good buy, and have no regrets....CHEERS!
