Despite the low specs, this phone is still working for me after buying refurbed a few years back. I had got one of the previous ones and that had also kept working and had updated to KitKat, it was hard to tell the difference between them when using the projector. Someone stole the older phone from me, but while I still have this one it's enough.

BOMBAY, 13 May 2015" I have actually purchased and used this phone twice "As I was saying, you have misused my words. I provided a clarification. I purchased this phone twice and used both units for a fair amount of time. The general poor performance of the unit is due to the specs being poor and the phone running software that the RAM could not handle. I have never had any background apps open because I never used this phone for other apps. At the time I replied to you last, my main phone was an iPhone 5, and I had not purchased the Beam 2 for anything other than playing movies.
I also closed background apps on the rare occasion one might have been opened, but usually no other apps were open and the phone still lagged.
Further to that, you add many bold claims on YouTube, telling people you will get custom mods for the Beam phones. They never materialised, and then you stopped posting videos. Also, the main problem even back then was that you thought upgrading the software would solve the problem of the poor specs both Beams had. Neither device was capable of running apps that demanded hjgh system resources.
I also think that the Motorola Z series was superior and they managed to make phones that can do the basics . Samsung may have made many good phones over the years and they certainly have been rightly recognised for developing innovative mobile phone products. However, they never really put that much effort in the Beam phones and only half heartedly supported the devices. One wonders why they even made them.

Yeah of course Samsung Galaxy Bream2 is a great device, they have updated a lot of the functionalities of the devices they now look with much more quality.
