Samsung Galaxy Book pre-orders start in the UK ahead of June 16 release

After having launched it in the US, Samsung is now getting ready to release the Galaxy Book in the UK. The device was unveiled back in February at MWC, and the Korean company is now taking pre-orders for it in the UK. Deliveries are set to start on June 16.

The 10.6" Wi-Fi-only Galaxy Book can be yours for £649 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while if you need 4G LTE data connectivity you'll have to shell out £739.

The 12-inch Galaxy Book only comes with Wi-Fi, and it's much more expensive because it has a lot better innards. You can buy one for £1,099 if you don't mind it sporting 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If you require double those amounts, the price to pay is £1,269.

The small Galaxy Book is powered by an Intel Core m3 processor and has a TFT screen, while the bigger model has a Core i5 and a higher-res Super AMOLED display. Its battery capacity is also better, as you'd expect. Both models run Windows 10.

LMAO good one!

My 15.6'' ASUS ROG has a Core i5-6300HQ and it hardly makes any noise, even when I play games. Do some research before complaining.

Intel Core m3 is good enough, but only 64 Gb storage makes it unusable! Core i5 is no good, unusable, if it still needs a noisy fan!
