It would have been a better choice to include a chipset such as the snapdragon 7s gen 2 instead of the old 7 gen 1. Otherwise the rest of the specs are just perfect.

Samsung User, 25 Apr 2024I hade a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for the past 5 years and I c... moreYou cannot compare a Note 9 from years ago with the standards of today. Both software and hardware protocols are different. For that time, the Note 9 was a beast and it was one of the best phones I ever had. Unfortunately, we have evolved.
First of all, not all levels of phones are made equal. The prices of higher end phones are mandated through the quality of the materials in significantly different ways than what most people think. For example, when you are making a motherboard for a cheaper phones, you will use a cheaper mixture of gold for the conducters, rather than in an expensive one, which in turn reduces the quality of data transfers. In a high end phone, manufacturers have to make sure that there is not a single component to create a "bottle neck".
Then we are talking r&d, marketing, transport, taxes, and many different aspects. Buying a cheap upper midrange phone from China makes me question the SAR values first, because not a single manufacturer publishes them. I personally use the vanilla S23. You put any other phone in my hand, and I immediately notice the colour shift on the screen due to poor crystal management of the display, the poor lamination process leading to rainbow banding, the software oversharpening images, the terrible UI issues due to the mismatch between the screen's resolution and the UI's PPI management. Then we can talk antennas, signal dropping, heat management, longevity and the wear and tear of the materials.... The list goes on forever.
Manufacturing a phone ten years ago was more robust than it is nowadays; there is a reason why higher end phones are more expensive.

Pitchwisse, 25 Apr 2024Headphone jack and SD card - the reasons for not having the... moreI hade a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for the past 5 years and I can assur you that the most of what you said is wrong, it had a SD-Slot that I used and hat no Problems with it and it also was pretty stable, yes it could be easier to engeneer but it wat already the norm back in 2010`s years so I dont think that it is that hard to do these days.
As for the 3.5mm jack, my note 9 hat a 3.5mm with AKG Headphones and they offered a good sound quality compared to anther Headphones back then and in my personal Openion till now and some how it was also waterproof with an actual open hole with connectors and like you already said (it is impossible to put a proper high quality audio dac into a phone that would drive resistent headphones) so why to bother!
There is another Point of view that i woud rather prefer whitch is that Mobile producers are stell selling there Phones in the same prices but when you buy a 200-300 $ Phone you just have to pay about 100$ extra for a proper Headphones, 25$ for a Charger and extra 2$ monthly for a Cloud storage Upgrade and whithin the expected Life Span for a Phone you already paid twice for your Phone.

Headphone jack and SD card - the reasons for not having them anymore:
Having integrated storage these days makes it significantly easier to construct and engineer a phone, rather than having to deal with another slot that needs connectors (internal and external). Also, with modern memory speeds, the overall system becomes less stable if a phone has additional storage on a separate bus, with different protocols, at different speeds. In 2024, there is absolutely not a single reason (unless you are a dedicated phone photographer/videographer so that you have to hot-swap (Xperia)) to have SD card slots.
As for the 3.5mm jack, read the engineering issue from the previous paragraph, together with water-proofing the phone that has an actual open hole with connectors. Furthermore, it is impossible to put a proper high quality audio dac into a phone that would drive resistent headphones, so the "audio quality" issue does not stand. These days (me being a music producer) the experience (not the fidelity) of the BT earbuds is more important than what you possibly might get out of a wired pair of headphones. Typical example are my SH 660s cans that no phone can drive properly.
And the most annoying part is that people who are actually complaining about such issues, are people who seem to be buying a new phone every single week, because these comments are absolutely everywhere. Get over it, go buy a pair of "Sony Linkbuds S" (amazing price to quality ratio), and if you cannot afford it then go for any pair of $20 Redmi earbuds, they will be fairly alright for the price, and not having cables is a Godsend.
Also, education matters, it saves lives.

Check why construction workers use a pair of on ears instead of in ears and you will soon understand what is what.

Minu, 24 Apr 2024Not at all, it's just a namesake.
The original Galaxy... moreEven though the “iPhone 5C” launched worldwide, people speculated that it was targeted towards China. It makes sense that Samsung is going to associate C with China.
But it can create a lot of misconceptions regarding the F series, it’s targeted towards India yet it’s “F”…?
Maybe they should rebrand F to N (for India) to stay consistent & rebrand M to W (for Web-exclusive phones)
Series C, Series N, Series W make a lot more sense! 😅

SGH Fan, 22 Apr 2024I'm surprised that Samsung brought back the C series! ... moreNot at all, it's just a namesake.
The original Galaxy C series stood for premium aluminum build and craftsmanship under ODM Sprocomm for the masses. This phone? Far off from what the Galaxy C series actually stood for. It's more comparable to Nokia, Motorola and Realme C series than anything else.

Front camera sarting from f2.0 till f1.6. Compass. Design sides is good, back should be clean without visibal factures. Thank you, Samsung.

Seriously, your comment are so outdated, and you can't fight the trend.
