its nice ihave bought this phone 10 days before its working is excellent but the only drawback is no battery back up other wise this phone is good

Sony Xperia M is using Krait Dual Core. It is able to play higher resolution of HD Video, because Krait has higher performance for multimedia.
So, anyone here is comparing Xperia M with Core...
Xperia M has better multimedia player due to it's Krait version
Core has better ROM (8Gb)
Which one do you prefer? Depend on your need. If you are often watch multimedia, maybe Xperia M is for you. But if you are a business man or user that looks for balance feature, Core is for you. 8Gb gives you enough room to do a lot with this gadget. Just remember, 4Gb or 8Gb that is mentioned is only useable part of it. The core is still giving you 4,75 Gb to install applications. Xperia M maybe will give you less than 2 Gb ROM. (Rooting maybe the last option for you that already buy Xperia M to expand the ROM capacity, just be sure to do it right, or your smartphone is done!)
Both of them won't give you much different in processing.

If you are looking for CDMA + GSM go for Samsung Infinite. Core is GSM+GSM with micro sim.
For people who complain about battery life span : It's a common thing that a smartphone is draining your battery. Why? You use chat messenger (BBM, WA, etc), you install horde of applications that is using background internet process, and if you keep using your smartphone, your LCD panel also consumes battery (bigger panel, bigger consumption). If you don't want to face this kind of battery issue, you may use classic phone (without Android, iOS, Windows 8). For sure it will be able to stay on for days. I have one that is function only for calling and sms. The battery is good :)So please, don't complain about battery anymore. Just buy a power bank with enough capacity my friend (5.600 mAh is a good choice, bigger is better).
HD Video 720 p? Why do you want to see a HD Video of 720 in smartphone of 4,3" or even 5" ?? You should watch it at LED 32, 40, or even bigger screen.
C'mon... just be realistic my friends. Core is a reasonable smartphone middle with features of Samsung. It's not a S4.
Playing games? It doesn't have any problem with it. You may see in Youtube for some vidoes when you type "Samsung Core" that shows you Core while playing games (Including Need for Speed, etc).

Friends it's waste phone this phone futures are nice but when u play any game like subway surfer.temple run. This games will be struck.in Sony Ericsson xperia is nice it's have also nice futures and u have only 3 inch different plz don't buy this phone.u will take means u will be suffer...............................it's damp sure

There are many fraudsters here.here is the proof:core cannot play 720p videos (HD) smoothly even with sw decoder of mx player and power save off mode. many are advertising about MX player, they are fraudsters and do not have galaxy core to be true.

I've been using this phone for past 7 days & trust me, this is one of the worst phones to ever come into the market.
The battery sucks. Everything else is just great. The cons are "No HD Video Support" & "F****D Up Battery"
The battery (Described on GSM Arena)is supposed to stand by 500 Hours but mine just keeps draining.
Let me add that I kill all the apps before going to sleep & charge the phone to 100% but then when I wake up, I'm left with only 40-45% of battery. So don't buy it at all.
