I know that this phone doesn't support 720p video recording, but does it support 720p video playback, either via built-in player or, for example, MX Player? Thanks for anyone answering!

I bought core last october.. I must admit that its a very nice phone for users who dnt want to
Play heavy games or online games.. internet is bit slow,
But its exellent for casual users.. good battery backup.. ends easily for more than a day..
I have been using it for last 4 months.. my opinion.. it is value for money.. cant expect more in rs 13500... so stop complainin users.. if u want more.. I vl suggest u to spent some more money n go for better phones

if moto g 16gb version comes wthin 15k then it'll b th best in th range
core uses a very old chipset..so lags often

I purchased IDEA ULTRA 3G in spite of galaxy core after reading reviews...
I hope not a wrong decision because even a company like samsung giving bull shit in name of quality..
