I own s3 mini with dual core a9 1GHZ mali-400 single core using custom rom Cyanogenmod 10.1. Asphalt 7 is smooth but got a crazy up and down frame-rate. While it stays at around 40 to 50 fps it occasionally down sharply to 10-20 fps depending on the scene. Play asphalt 8 which graphics it adjustable and asphalt 8 can keep frame rate constant. GTA i never play on s3 mini but on youtube seems to be smooth.
I share this for a comparison. I dont know how A5 performance compare to A9. But what i get, 1.2GHz dual core maybe could perform better (in terms of higher core processing number). Also its weak GPU, Adreno 203 is outdated.

Coree is best phone in this range...good phone
but music and loudspeaker sound is low.. and battery backup is normal..

I have been using this phone for one month its performance was very good. No hanging or lag problems good UI and very first 3g data transfer rate . Camera and Samsung keyboard are also good. sound and display performance are also good. Only disappointment is about its battery. One full charging is hardly last only for a day.

Core users plz reply! Do high end games play on this phone lag free?games like asphalt 7,riptide 2,gta series!!! If not, then what is the use of the 8gb memory....XM would be better in that respect coz after rooting u can shift ur games to sd card!!!

This mobile is so good when u compare to sony xperia M. Just rs.500 more than that. Core has very good features especially memory and camera.
In market we can get this at Rs.13250/- only.
If u compare with
1. Sony xperia M
2. Xolo T1000
3. Galaxy core
Core is the best choice...!

vry vry best phone evr I used 1.2 ghz dual core and 1gb ram is greatest points of this phone ....... thus the gpu is 203 it must be brodcom videocore but the phone is greatest it copies and moves files very very fast... and best gaming experience from this mobile!!!!!!!!!

core having 4.3 inch display
core can play 720 video becasuse of adreno 203
s duos has adreno 200 only
core is dual core
more internal memory

why does phone allow us to us only about 4 to 4.6 gb of internal memory. the claims to have 8gb. its not like ram where the os occupies some space.

It is not so good phone internal memory only shows 4.7 gb. and sound as a china mobile.
some time it hangs.
