If you compare it with galaxy s duos, then I think the price of core duos is much higher...coz @ 9,500INR you can have same camera (rare & front), 4inch screen, dual active phone, android 4 (I m a grand duos user, so i knew there is nithing much different b/w android 4 and android 4.1.2), 1Ghz processer cortex A5............so for only 0.3 inch bigger screen, jelly bean os, 1.2 Ghz dual core cortex A5 processor and only extra 2 GB memory & 256MB RAM, I don't think u should pay extra 5K...I like this phone but 15K is too much...if the price drop to 12-13K then go for it...

[deleted post]Pay 2,500 INR extra and go for galaxy grand duos...compare to galaxy core, grand duos is much better...if you think both phone has same processor then you are wrong...core has 1.2Ghz cortex A5(old) processor and grand has 1.2Ghz cortex A9 processor...and grand has 8MP rare & 2MP front camera compare to only 5MP & VGA... your money your choice....:-)

games like sub way surf and temple run lags (runs hangs)
sometimes camera gives error.1080p videos lags .yes u can play 720p videos with mx player.

I have purchased it 2 day back from local market in INR 15,100/-. Phone is of average quality and speed. Battery backup is just ok. wait for festive season, it would be under 13k with freebies.

Guys just dont buy this phone,it does not play even 720p videos ..it records video in 480p which is very less as compared to its price .there is no good phone of samsung in this range...sony is also better than Samsung.....GO FOR CANVAS HD ..superb processor witH 8Mp camera ....
