I hv also found the straight line problems on my galaxy core
But I have not found any difficulty while playing subway surfer
But honestly I want to say no game runs super smooth on galxy core as it has old adreno 203 gpu...galaxy Y also had adreno 203...then immgine how old harwares galaxy core has!!! I hv faced too many lags while playing chicken ninja which is only a 15 mb game

Issues found in this phn:
>Randomly when you activate your screen color tone changes to dull one sometimes
>Sometimes you will find straight lines when you unlock your screen
>You can't play Subway surfers so smoothly :( as you might have played on other 500mb ram Micromax phone.

smswant, 30 Oct 2014Has anyone tried to root and update the OS to KitKat versio... moreU can root your galaxy core. ..if u hv the old firmware then u can use framaroot...if u r using the latest version then u should use baidu easy root..and u can't upgrade to kitkat..because there is no official kitkat upgrade for Samsung galaxy core. .also there is no unofficial kitkat upgrade like cyanogen, aosp, aokp available for galaxy core. .many android developeer already tried to make cyanogen kitkat for galaxy core..but failed..there cyanogen boots, but there was no call,messaging, internet facility etc..galaxy core has some old hardwares and they don't have drivers for kitkat.so, it is impossible to upgrade galaxy core to kitkat..there are some custom kitkat like rom like samykat, androrom, cosmic rom etc.but they are not real kitkat rom..they are just kitkat themed jellybean 4.1.2 rom

shirish, 30 Oct 2014giving the application mangager app from pay store.No...u can't move apps to sd card with the help of any app manager app...app manager like app2sd only work if the phone supports the moving of apps to sd...galaxy core doesn't hv secondary partition and the kernel also doesn't support it...u will not understand these things
