galaxy core has jellybean 4.1.2...which is very old...after jellybean 4.1.2, following os updates are released--
1)jellybean 4.2.1,
2) jellybean 4.2.2
3)jellybean 4.3,
4)kitkat 4.4.1,
5)kitkat 4.4.2,
6)kitkat 4.4.3,
7)kitkat 4.4.4 and
8)Now ANDROID L ( Lollypop 5 )
Now think yourself, where we galaxy core users are!!!
We r running jb4.1.2 behind 8 os...so sad...android hv 18 months of support period.. during this period the manufacturer should provide one or two major os updates ..but galaxy core didnt got any os update during 1 year and it has only 6 months of support period left...samsung already declared that no phone with 1 gb ram get kitkat..so a big no to Galaxy core..and I m sure there is a very less chance of jb4.2.2 for galaxy core..looks like Samsung abandoned galaxy core...samsung really cheated us....please dont waste your valuable money on such a looser phone....go for MOTO G..its price is only 12500 ...and u will get much more than your expectations. .it is a super phone with super display,, super hardwares.it already got kitkat 4.4.2 and it is going to get upcoming Android L os..Motorola confirmed it on 7th July. ...moto G rocks

anil, 22 Jul 2014above 50mb the video songs cant playing with mx player also No no..u r wrong...it not related to mb of the video...it is related to resolution of the video...try to check the resoulion of the video on pc...select--right click--properties....I hv played videos of above 100 mb with the inbuilt video player. .but the resolution of the videos are 480×800 I.e. 480p...these r not hd

Plz tell him to check the user name and password wheather he is writing righting or wrong....if this will not abl to fix it..then he should try to update the play store to the latest version. ..I want to suggest u download apps, games, themes from websites like nextwap.net, apkgalaxy.com, appxk.com....these websites provide full version apps (cracked)..and they dont contain advertisement and easy to download....since most of the apps in the Google play store r free, hence they r adware that means they contains advertisement..so, they consumes data and sometimes they create difficulties in running the app

Worse mobile i ever used. It is very slow and battery backup is very poor. I recommend u not to buy this mobile.

shreee, 21 Jul 2014i want purchase this phone guys please tell me if any bad p... moreDear, this is not a good phone.i am using this phone..the phone is slim..beautiful. .but it has some drawbacks---
1.its battery back up is very bad
2.it is a old phone (1 year old)...so it has a old jellybean 4.1.2 operating system. .and it will not get kitkat os as samsung declared it..kitkat is a very good os which consumes less ram and hence runs efficiently. .so u should go for a new phone which has kitkat os
3..its hardwares are very old..for example, it has very old and weak adreno 203 graphics processor..because of which it is a very bad mobile for gaming..games do not run smoothly. .and also it does not support hd video play back and recording.
There r lots of drawback of this mobile I can't remember now...at last I suggest u to buy a newly launched mobile which has kitkat and better hardwares...galaxy core is available at 12000 in local stores...at this price u will get far better phone galaxy core...I suggest u to check moto g,moto e,lava iris x1, micromax canvas a190, etc

my samsung core battery draining very fastly.its not giving battery backup even 5 to 6hrs,really its too bad,its there any problem in my battery???and my battery backup is 2hrs if i use continuously.whts the problem?????

pulak, 20 Jul 2014Battery of my galaxy core handset is decaying by 1% in ever... more1.First root your device using an app "framaroot"..u can find it in xda forum. Or u can make a google search. .
2.install root installer..and uninstall all unnecessary apps
3.install xposed....search it as "xposed installer"
4.download deep sleep battery saver pro from nextwap.net and install it
5.now open xposed..go to framework. .click on install/update
6.go to module.select deep sleep battery saver. Now reboot your phone
7 install smart ram booster full ver from nextwap.net. ..install it.gand open..go settings-->>ram boost-->>set boost level as aggressive or strong-->> select "boost wheen screen off"-->> select "boost automatically"..-->> set boost interval as 5 mints or 10 mints...
After doing these, hope ur problem will b solved
