rio, 19 Jun 2014this phone is powerful and do not compare it with sony ,you... moreU r saying that I dont know why galaxy core is bad..okay now I m giving u reasons
1.firstly, core has older processor for which it cant give performance up to the mark..it take times to load some apps.for example, picsart takes almost one and half minutes to load a photo..where xperia l load it in no time.
2.display is not so good..looks yellowish.it does not hv a scratch resistant glass..low cost phone even lumia 520 has gorila glass
3.it does not have a ambient light sensor, for which we have to manage the brightness all the time.it is very irritating.we cant use it in full brightness which can lead to battery drainage.
4.it does not have a modern gpu..for which we cant play all graphics sensitive games smoothly. It will play but will hang like hell..so core is not recommended for game lovers.because of the old gpu some apps take times to load (eg. Photo editors).
5.one important thing is that core's signal receiption is very bad.i hv a vodafone sim.i get full signal when I use the sim in nokia or micromax phones.but when I use it in my core it lost sig

rio, 19 Jun 2014this phone is powerful and do not compare it with sony ,you... moreU cant tell galaxy core a powerful phone than sony without considering their hardwares and softwares. ..I think u hv not use any sony phone...if u had use it u will never tell core is better than sony phone...do u know that galaxy core has antutu benchmark of only 7444 and xperia m has a score of 11295 and xperia l has 17500...it is the proof which hv better performance. ..more the scores, more the performance. ..and one thing we should notice that core has adreno 203 gpu and galaxy y also have also have the same gpu..even chinese phone dont use this gpu at present time. .samsung selling a two years old gpu at a higher price..how long samsung will cheat us by sellind old things at higher price???

rio, 19 Jun 2014this phone is powerful and do not compare it with sony ,you... moreI am using this phone okay...I have proof..I can give my cash memo...or screen shot of my galaxy core...I am saying it bad because it is really bad..u r saying it good only for the reason that u have it..u dont want to let yourself down..but I m not your type reviewer..I only post what is true...I m here to help people to choose the right phone..not for diverting people giving false information. ..u r saying galaxy core a good phone..because may b first time u r using a android phone or may be u hv not use any good phone before which can perform better than galaxy core....we dont have to argue..just decide by comparing the features in gsm arena...and if u r a expert user then give me some proof by telling me something about rooting, flashing, custom rom, custom kernel, cyanogen mode, android os, cpu, gpu etc etc..or if dont know..then dont argue with me..I know some people are here who r saying core is a good phone because they have it and dont want to tell bad abt their phone..they will never tell it a bad phone even his phone hangs all the time and they have to be busy in removing the battery from their crappy core emwhen it hangs

vvv, 19 Jun 2014again you talk about gpu . if you did not use galaxy core, ... moreWe are here to comment about galaxy core to help others to choose the best option possible at this price...we should not praise galxy core just only for the reason that we have it..I too have galaxy core and commenting bad abt galaxy core..why???because it is really a bad phone at this price..we can say it good when its price will be cut down to 7500..I have previously use sony xperia L and micromax canvas turbo..u will know that the difference of performance when u will use a sony xperia phone..and most good thing abt sony is that they always ready to give new updates for their phones..I got 7 major updates in my xperia l...and now galaxy core users can not imagine even update from jb 4.1.2 to jb 4.2.2....so sad..and we dont have a developer to support our core unofficially

vvv, 19 Jun 2014again you talk about gpu . if you did not use galaxy core, ... moreI am using galaxy core okay..and bad performance of core really disappointed me..I hv previously used xperia l and sold it to buy galaxy core..now I m feeling like falling from heaven to hell...and I am saying galxy core is a bad phone only for experienced and old android users..I m not saying it is bad for basic users..and already I said that core has good camera...and I never said xperia m is better than galaxy core in all aspects..somebody said that core has better processor, cpu etc than xperia m...thats why I opposed him and showed him a comparison between xperia m and galaxy core...I am saying what is true..just compare the specifications..u will know that xperia m has better hardwares and softwares than galaxy core except display size and camera...and u r talking abt a update available for your galaxy core..what type of update???new bloatwares??ha ha ha..Samsung only can give us bloatwares not new os...galaxy core does not have a developer in xda forum to provide us kitkat through cyanogen mode or any kind of custom rom..because it is not a popular mobile and no develer has interest in galaxy core...it is shame for samsung..core didnt get a single major update from release date. .so sad..I dont know why samsung betraying mid range customers like us..I think samsung abandoned galaxy core and have interest only in their flagship devices

All samsung phones r looks like same..people even cant tell my phone is core or sduos...and what about update??? Do u know samsung did nt release a single update for core from relese date???dont u need new features of new os??xperia m has got rwo major updates jb4.2 and jb4.3 from release date and now giving better performance than ever....grow up guyz..dont let samung to make u fool...stop arguing. .just compare samsung phones specifications with other manufacturers of same price..u will then know that samsung selliag a two years old phone in new packets.

I accept all ur point expect battery life.. battery life is very poor and not more than 4 hours and 30 minutes. If anyone ok with the battery power of what i have mentioned above, can go for samsung core else. But apart from battery everything is awesome to use.

I m facing a problem that in the default Browser m getting a notification while i try to download smthng that says starting download bt there is no download taken place neither shwng in downloads

Battery back up is very poor .....
Charging is so fast and the same time the power is discharging at the same rate of speed....
