Samsung Galaxy Core I8260

My I8262 was working fine. But next morning all of sudden, I couldn't not pull my notification bar down and screen also seems sluggish; need to touch 3-4 to send 1 command. Did factory setting, delete cache, etc but to no avail. I liked this phone so much. Any solution to it?

I actually prefer this over iphones in terms of performance and functionality. The only drawback is that it's too old for new apps. Otherwise it is a really good phone.

I am using this phone from last 2 years.every thing is working good.now todays apps are verry heavy er than this phone compatibility strength and internal memory is 4 gb only.so u cant install too much apps games.but I got a solution for this.first u have to root ur galaxy core with framaroot then install an application called external to internal and u need to set it as the instructions shown there.now u got ur internal memory same as ur external memory card.e.g. I hv 16 gb memory card so my internal is also 16 gb + 4 gb from the device internal memory. Even play market sometimes shows you that some of heavier games is not compatible with this device but belive me I hv downloaded apk & obb files of amazing spider man 2 & brothers in arms 3 and its also working verry good on this device.i only hv a complain about this device that battery quality is not good.anyways I am verry happy with this phone.luv u samsung.

i am using this phone from 2 years and a month it was working gud earlier but now evn its not showing contact details in less thn 15 seconds....
but i am happy to spent 2 years with such a gud phone...

this phone has become an outdated one becoz newer apps are heavier not compatible even... as I had been using this phone for 2 and half years, it worked great . but now its a total waste of money to buy at this point of time. But the display is very good which I don't find in other phones in this range.

If this phone seems good to you, you're better of buying Samsung Galaxy S3 or S4 mini. It costs approximately the same ammount and the S3 and S4 mini are much faster and better than this one.
Source: I have Samsung Galaxy Core I8260 for 2 and a half years now and it's really gets slower after some time and the battery life gets much lower too. My friend has a S4 mini and it's so much better.
