I own the Samsung Galaxy Core SM-G386W.
(note the "W" and not "F")
Some notable changes:
Internal 16 GB, 1.5 GB RAM
(instead of the listed 8Gb/1Gb RAM)
CPU Quadcore 1.2Ghz
and Android 4.4

Just got this phone a few weeks now
No complaints everything works fine. Tv shows,movies etc. Im happy with my purchase.

Disappointing. First one just died in week #2. Replacement still working...HOWEVER, I bought it for my son (14 yrs old) and paired with a plan with limited data, but had unlimited text and pics because that is predominantly what teens do these days. Turns out that, on this phone, you cannot sent text attachments or pics unless you enable data. You cannot send a text with an attachement on Wifi. I've never encountered this limitation on any other phone we've had in our family (and that is quite a few phones). It is not only inconvenient, but it really increases the chances of my son accidentally leaving data enabled and sucking data. This is a deal breaker for me, but we can't exchange the phone since we are now past the 15 day limit...sucks!

Great phone, no problems whatsoever after a month of use, I can play games for 5-6 hours until the battery discharges completely, and that with 75% brightness. The CPU is a little bit slower than most of nowadays phones' CPUs, but it does not disappoint.
