Samsung Galaxy E5 hits Russia on January 23
Samsung Galaxy E3 and Galaxy E5 were announced on January 6 and the first market to get the mid-range duo was India. Both phones resembles the A series, though instead of metal they use polycarbonate.
Galaxy E5 packs a 5" 720p Super AMOLED screen and is powered by the Snapdragon 410 chip with a 64-bit quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A53 processor. The rest of the specs include 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB expandable storage, an 8MP rear and a 5MP front cam, dual-SIM connectivity and a 2,400 mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy E5 runs on Android KitKat and is priced at INR 19,300 in India (€255). Now Russia is the second market to offer the Galaxy E5. The phone popped up on Samsung's official store for RUB 19,990 or €270.
The Galaxy E5 will go on sale in Russia on January 23. We expect more markets to follow suit shortly.
