The Samsung Galaxy F05 looks like a solid entry-level option with a decent set of features for its price.

Anonymous, 23 Oct 2024SD845 isn't gonna last a long time. It was built on an... moreYou're literally wrong with everything youve said.

SD 845 is on a 10nm samsung design using the same cores as the g85 but clocked higher so instantly wrong there.

They both use lpddr4x ram but the 845 has it clocked higher.

The SD 845 has a better ISP so can have higher mega pixel cameras recording at higher resolutions and more of them with better hardware features.

Both the 845 and g85 both have BT 5.0 except the 845 has better theoretical up and download speeds with a far better modem in and a newer wifi specification.

The SD845 wins hands down, not even close (all this information is accessible, i just did it then). You should probably actually fact check next time buddy.

The gpu on the SD845 has a max output of 727gflops of performance vs the 96 gflops on the g85.

Anonymous, 03 Oct 2024Entry level phones used to be improving, now they become st... moreSD845 isn't gonna last a long time. It was built on an older architecture and was implemented at the time S9 was first released, not the S10 and of course it'll never beat a newer Helio, especially G99. Step up your knowledge, G99 is better overall than the SD845, just that it lacked the GPU section and overall optimization by Samsung themselves. If you'd compare A15 with the S9, the A15 would be a much better pick. Even if it doesn't have OIS, fancy heart rate sensor, dynamic amoled along with premium build and no telephoto lens, the overall user experience in the A15 would still be smashing the S9.

          Here's why G99 is superior against SD845;

          Higher refresh rate support
Much better battery life+capacity and heat dissipation
          Better chip transistor size+TSMC-manufactured CPU
Modern mid-range GPU with low cores but high clocked compared to outdated flagship GPU with high cores yet low clocked
Higher RAM clock support+UFS 2.2 support
2+6 config leads to better performance efficiency
          Better 2xA76 + 6xA55 architecture with higher e-core clock
Newer Bluetooth version, better Vulkan support, better LTE support

If you'd want to buy a used phone in 2024 you gotta be smart at choosing them, A52s is a good pick with 3+5 years OS extension, A73 is also a really good pick. A72 is nice if you wanted a decent performer for daily use with good cameras. Used A34 is also a steal, Dimensity 1080 is a beast. If you wanted cheaper you could go with the M14 5G, Exynos 1330 is good with the cameras, especially video recording though there is no ultrawide lens but it is receiving One UI 7 and is also recycled in the newer A16 5G series in some markets.

With the launch of Samsung Galaxy M05 and F05 that comes with the same specs as Samsung Galaxy A05 except the back cover, it is clear that this particular kind of Samsung Phone may currently a global market demand. I owned Samsung Galaxy A05 . It runs under Android 14 and One UI 6.1. The performance just simply enough although I still wish Red Magic phone for daily fashion and style while ignoring the high spec.

Android 16 with OneUI will be sluggish as heck.

SonyAdmiral, 18 Sep 2024Is not that bad for 90 dollarsBut, for $90, I always recommend a used flagship or mid-range. You will be more satisfied! For example, an unlocked and good condition G8 will set you about that much. Yes, it is stuck on A12, but the experience is much better.
