        HamedB, 21 Dec 2022Hi there; I had the decision to buy Galaxy A23 5G 128GB/... moreGo for F23 5G(6/128gb)
        It's better than A23 or A23 5g in everyway

          Hi there;

I had the decision to buy Galaxy A23 5G 128GB/6GB but that one has become hard to find in my country. Now my options are either this Phone (Galaxy F23 128GB/6GB) or the 128GB/4GB version of my first choice (Galaxy A23 5G 128GB/4GB). Now my question is will I get significant performance hit if I buy a phone with 4GB RAM or should I instead buy this very phone, i.e. Galaxy F23 128GB/6GB to have 6GB of RAMs.

Keep in mind that my priorities (in order) are:

          1. Having smooth and lag-less experience without needing to constantly force stop every background app or restarting the phone. Sometimes I may install many apps which may need to be kept running in the background.
          2. The device temperature not be like your phone's on fire and again not needing to close every background app to cool down the device.
          3. Getting as many major Android & OneUI updates as possible (2 years of updates is fine). Also the updates not causing the device to become laggy and hot again (I suppose Snapdragon phones have the least problems with Samsung updates).
          4. NOT wanting to play AAA games with insane graphics (like Asphalt, PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty Mobile, Life is Strange, etc.) but rather wanting to play casual games (like Monument Valley, Samorost, GRIS, Apparatus, etc.) and occasionally some games which may be a little more demanding (like Minecraft, The Room, The Sims Mobile, Oceanhorn, etc.) but again nothing that needs the highest existing specs.

Would you recommend me to go with this "Galaxy F23 128GB/6GB" which has 6GB of RAM or instead "Galaxy A23 5G 128GB/4GB" which has 4GB of RAM for a slightly better price?

Sorry for the long comment and Thanks in advance.

Mahesh Patel , 27 Nov 2022Watssp video call third class camera of course the camera sucks .. that is calculated risk every buyer needs to take . if you check samsung website f23 main board alone costs 11k. they had to cut some corner in order to sell it at 13k .in this case compromises are camera and display . display is fine but not comfortable for long hours. camera is absolute trash . gaming is great!

this is a gaming phone. not an overall all-rounder product. get your priorities straight . don't just buy anything that has good cpu. write down features matter to you most then make a choice which phone you want to buy.

Good Phone as per my experience.
Good Display (Bright & Vivid Not Oversaturated) Black Levels are Satisfactory Not As Deep As AMOLED. Good Viewing Angles. No Problem.
Good build quality, the phone looks premium from the back but not from the front as it has the old waterdrop notch I prefer the punch hole design.
Loudspeaker Is Loud & Calling Sound Is Good As Well.
Performance Is Great. No Lags. Have uninstalled bloatwares, restricted battery and data usage for apps that don't need to run in the background all the time. Day to day performance is pretty great. One UI looks like a proper Custom Skin unlike other OEM's half baked custom UI. It has some really great features which I use on a daily basis and customisation is great too. The only reason for me to buy this phone is because of One UI as it has all features I need and robust customisation options.
Talking about the Camera, the rear camera is pretty good in daylight (Bright Sunny Day) but its performance in artificial lighting conditions and low light is average. Front Camera is disappointing.
RAM/STORAGE Speeds are pretty good. You can use dedicated MicroSD and 3.5mm jack is also present.
The phone looks good and build quality is good as well.
Battery backup is great but the phone doesn't ship with a charger in the box. A type c to c cable has been provided but since I had a charger with old Type A to Type C I am using 15W samsung charger with my old Vivo cable and it takes 2 hours to get charged maybe if you get 25W Samsung Charger it will charge faster. This isn't a right move in the budget segment by Samsung.
Fingerprint Scanner is fast and works accurately well most of the time. 5G supported so quite future proof. Overall its a good phone if you can compromise with the camera.
