Samsung Galaxy Fit3 complete specs leak ahead of imminent launch

In a bit of a mishap, Samsung’s UAE branch jumped the gun and listed the upcoming Galaxy Fit3 smartband on its website. We’ve seen multiple leaks for Samsung’s wearable and we now get the complete picture with specs and images of the device. As expected, Galaxy Fit3 will bring plenty of upgrades over 2020’s Galaxy Fit2 including a larger display, more capable UI and larger battery.

Galaxy Fit3 features a 1.6-inch AMOLED display with 256 x 402 px resolution and a plastic design with aluminum sides. The band will feature 100+ watch faces with the additional option to create your own with a photo from your gallery. The software side is handled by a simple tile-based interface.

This browser does not support the video element.

Samsung is bringing activity tracking for over 100 modes to choose from as well as sleep, stress, and heart rate tracking. The device is also equipped with a fall detection sensor and the ability to alert your emergency contacts.

Galaxy Fit3 can also handle incoming notifications and media controls. While the band won’t support voice calls, it will allow you to hang up on calls from your connected device as well as send predetermined message replies. There’s no built-in GPS, so you’ll have to use your paired phone’s receiver to track runs. Samsung also confirmed that the band won’t feature NFC connectivity or third-party apps.

Battery life is claimed to last up to 13 days with normal usage and it also supports a quick charge function that gets you to 65% in 30 minutes. The device uses a magnetic two-pin proprietary charger.

Galaxy Fit3 will come in at least three colors – black, white and pink. It weighs 18.5 grams and boasts an IP68 rating. The only remaining question marks are pricing and availability which will likely be revealed in the coming days.
