those who have any doubts about my comment can go and check gsmarena battery review of galaxy A3 2017 ..
93h endurance with 15-16h browsing and video playback .. on the same 2400 mah battery .. that is with an octa core.. just screen size is 4.7 inch vs 5 inch here , so this j3 2017 expect 90h and 14h browsing and video playback..

even though battery is only 2400mah the processor used in it is built on 14nm node . which is very very very effecient..
expect 90h+ endurance rating and 14h web browsing gsmarena rating..

+ bigger battery
+ fingerprint reader (j3 probably won't have this)
+ dual band ac wifi (j3 might have this)
+ slightly bigger screen/better screen to body ratio/better design
- No front flash
- Non removable battery
- slightly lower dpi
Worth the 60 dollar difference? I think they're both overpriced btw.

I think the j3 is much better buy compared to the j5! I don't know what Samsung is thinking both have the same camera, 720p and 2gb ram.

Well, it seems that Samsung with this Galaxy J3 will compete head to head with the little Xiaomi Redmi 4a. But the Redmi 4a has a definitely affordable price, but the Galaxy J3 will have a similar price? In other words, for the same specs (apart for the Nougat, mainly. That it can be fixed with a simple update) but probably much more cheaper, it would be better not to opt for the Samsung's one.

For Stupid people - this budget phone, very low spec.. Dont wait from j3 or a3 S8 or even S6 specifications OK??? Why you didnt write, no titan.. No saphire glass 2017..

This is a low budget phone. Don't know why people are complaining about low specs. 1.5GB RAM and 16GB storage is on par for this price range. Manufacturers are using low spec silicon to save cost, to provide the less expensive phone that some people want or can afford. You want higher specs, there's plenty of mid-range phones with more RAM and storage, better cameras, etc.
I do agree with some here, the flagship phones are over priced for what little they provide over the mid-range phones. Mainly 'cool factor', or what's new and hot.
