But I am even thinking on using it as primary one also. Not wise to spend big money on on flagships if your only job is telephone, whatsapp & message which it does much better & in less time.

I will list only the CONS. If you are ok with these, the rest is very good value for money.
1. Charger provided in the box is old type. No data cable.
2. No fingerprint/face unlock.
3. No lift-to-wake
Rest is pretty good for basic functions like browsing, youtube, pdf viewing etc.
Call quality is excellent.
If you compare it with the flagships, no point in it.

This is an Android Go phone. Meant for basic functions and for those who are using Android for first time.
Buying 2gb RAM version will be better. 1GB version will definitely be a disastrous buy.
Graphics intensive app/ usage will result in lags and hang up problems.

dont buy this mobile. it is totaly money waste. its taking 3 to 5 hours for full charging. also true caller's caller id feature is not running in this mobile. hanging issue frequently. if you want to throw your money in dustbin then buy this phone

Now that I've actually started to use this phone.. My experience is bitter. Mere watching youtube videos heats up the phone near the camera module. Disappointed though can be used as a secondary phone. Samsung could have provided a better Chipset such as Snapdragon 4xx series. Definitely not worth it if anyone is planning to get this for more than basic usage.

Dont buy samsung phone it is waste of money.
Samsung is a fraud company by just giving poor quality products.
Go for other brands like redmi or realme as it is really worth.

Good phone for basic users who do not use that many apps. The battery takes almost 3 hours to charge and backup is not that much. No fingerprint and face unlock. No auto brightness sensor. But for my usage this is an okay phone for deaddiction of heavy phone usage. I've the 1 GB RAM 16 GB Storage Variant in red colour. The default ringtones are garbage, especially the new Over The Horizon tone. Sound is loud from the loudspeaker. Camera is average though. Touch sensitivity is medium and display quality ain't that good. Design is good and compact, width is little slim but no problem in one handed usage.

Got the phone, using for a day now. Bought as a temp phone because I didn't find a 40K phone
(Nord, 4a, Moto Edge) that felt right and my current Moto X (2013) battery is bloated and about to blow up. Short answer - I think it's fair value.
- It is *not* fast. My MotoX2013 is about as fast as this one on SunSpider
- It actually stalled once for 10-20 seconds in the middle of Candy Crush!
- Simple calling, browser, youtube are fine
- It does get noticeably warm sometimes but not worried
- Display has decent resolution and viewing angles but certainly not a premium LCD
- Feels like a downgrade for me in small annoying details though... my old phone had a relatively grippy curved back and a smooth display (like when scrolling or "swype" typing) with oleophobic coating. This one is the opposite - slightly slippery plastic back but "sticky" screen. No AOD, wake on move.
I guess I'm just here posting a eulogy for my old phone. You never appreciate what you have till it's gone :( Moto/Google made some solid phones.
If you're on a budget or want a basic phone, this is not a bad choice. Cheers.

I have been using this phone for a week now. All the basic features (call, text, browse, mails, music) works great with minor lag while switching between them, Sometimes there's a lag while answering calls too.
But as this was expected I do not have a problem. If you are basic user like me, then Don't spend thousands more to get back half a second of your life. Instead try and be patient ;)
