Samsung Galaxy M33 receives One UI 7 update based on Android 15

The latest Samsung device to receive the much-anticipated (and much-waited-for) update to One UI 7 based on Android 15 is the Galaxy M33. This model has now started getting the new software in Europe, the Middle East, as well as parts of Latin America and Asia.

Basically, it's looking like a very well spread out rollout from the get-go, which means it shouldn't take long to reach all of the M33 units out there. The update arrives over-the-air as a 3.5GB download, and after you install it your Galaxy M33 will be on software version M336BXXUCFYE5.

The update includes the May 2025 security patches, which obviously aren't current. If you haven't yet received the update notification, you can always manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

One UI 7 is Samsung's biggest update in years, coming with a redesign and a ton of new features, but because of that the rollouts took a very long time to start. Hopefully things will go faster with the upcoming One UI 8.
