T3 has app lock whereas M35 has Secure folder.
Secure folder is different than App Lock.
Older phones like J7 has app lock (S-Secure)

Finger Print recognition is not working good. Many times I cancelled and installed new one. Even enabling of finger print not smooth. I have M30. It was good in finger print recognition. Finger print in M30 was in middle and good

Srj, 28 Oct 20246000 mah battery on this performs fine , its the 5G network... moremy experience was with a single BSNL 4g sim. my j5(2016) gives me almost the same sot as the m35.
in addition to that you are literally playing lottery each time there is an update, I have seen hundreds of comments under YouTube videos saying things like-
1. battery life was bad and after update it's better than before.
2. battery life was bad and after update it's still bad.
3. battery life was decent and after update it's worse.
other than these, I literally saw a single comment which was, "I have had great battery life since day 1, almost 12h sot".
Amazon reviews paint a similar picture. Buying a budget samsung device is just like playing slots at the casino. while pretty much every brand in the budget segment suffers from this, it is especially bad in samsungs case.
furthermore there has been a bug with the hotspot where it stops sharing internet with connected devices every couple of minutes and you have to restart hotspot. This bug has been present since the past 4~5 years in the m series and hasn't been fixed.
• you go to the forums - they tell you to reset device (this doesn't fix it)
• you go to the service centre - they tell you it's a mb issue (replacing doesn't fix it)
• you talk to customer support - they tell you wait for updates
shit never gets fixed. qc doesn't exist.

Wow for only 220 euros you can get almost the same what getting A35 users which cost about 300+ euros. Cool devices for people who want get Samsung quality for low price with awesome features. Nice, good job from Samsung. Samsung quality as most know is one of the best, so 220 euros and you getting: Exynos 1380 the same which is in A35 for about 300+ euros, 6 - 8GB RAM, 128-256GB ROM, 1000 nits, Victum+, memory cars, 6000 mAh battery and many more. I bought A55 which cost more as 400 euros and i can see now that some stuff you can get from this phone for even low price. Nice. Owner of this model have to be very very much happy.

Budget/lower mid-range devices, these offer decent performance, 1+ days of battery backup, decent OLED displays, sub-par build quality, serviceable cameras etc.
The M35s USP is big battery which no other brand is offering in addition to somewhat less bloated OS. The user is presented with these benefits in exchange for significantly more weight compared to other devices in the segment.
However in the case of M35, the battery backup is worse than the competition and the Exynos 1380 heats up way too much and throttles under even the tiniest of loads, which defeats the entire premise of less bloat.
In Flagship devices, you get the positives of performance, camera, build quality, battery etc. You also get the negative of weight.
In M35, you get the positives of gg victus+, 5 OS updates and nothing else. And you also get the negative of weight.
Now, can someone explain to me why the fuck do I put up with the negative aspects of the device if I do not get the mfkn positives the company promised.

Why the fk are you doing this mental gymnastics of indirectly comparing a $1000 phone to the m35?, if you want to compare, then compare it with similarly priced phones which offer better performance and battery life while being less weight. And as stated above, the $1000 phone is giving you the positives it promised along with the negatives; the m35 is not delivering on the positives while giving you the negatives.

The M35 irrespective of whether its a good or bad phone is a budget phone at 1/5th the cost of the Google one.
When people are ok paying $1000 for same weight, the M35 should also sell decently. Choice of course to the buyer with brain on or off!
