I'd rather buy an INFINIX Note40 5G which costs a quarter cost, than pay for a over-fluffed, sham of a phone. Buyers - beware - you are the ultimate loser for buying any if the ShAMSUNG phones.

      I am not sure why people say this phone has bad cameras. The main camera is as good as the one of the A55 I also owned, and the selfie camera has a much more realistic color reproduction than the one on the A55. In twilight the night mode works wonders for both cameras.

      Yes, the phone lacks full ingression protection although it must have some as the SIM slot is sealed. Plus it has a much slimmer Profil than the A series phones.

        Samsung: This phone performs as good as a SD7G1 gets
        Every Indian: We don't even expect SD7G1 at 25K 😂

            The initial F55 reviews on Flipkart are posting a similar picture:- 3.5 stars out of 5, most verified owners posting 2 or 1 star reviews on Flipkart.
            Reasons are same:- Bad Camera, buggy as hell, overheating badly, 20 minute PUBG session burning their hands, 5G going airplane mode for no reason(this one is new, wow).

            Samsung realised that dumping Amazon and choosing flipkart won't help if the product has bad QC.

            Nothing surprising. Its the M55 inside.... Check for yourself on Flipkart website.

              There's no reason to buy flagship phones anymore (emaybe except internal storage).

                So the m55 is the f55

                  Well basically the m55 has better charging speed and more and the m55 is basically better then the m35 in every aspect bcoz they ate different levels but same generations

On Flipkart there are only few more pieces left. In Samsung's own website it is out of stock. I think the M55 was indeed a problem product which Samsung has now pulled off the shelves. Will they now re-release the unsold M55 inventory as the F55?

A defective motherboard shouldn't cause performance issues, because in systems with such complexity - it either works or not. Obviously a device could have (there is a possibility) thermal management issues due to vapor chamber issues, but that is NOT a motherboard related issue

                                With 2.3 stars out of 5, most users complained of overheating while video recording, isplay issues, pathetic battery life, camera speed/performance below average even though quality was ok, etc.
                                M55 and its Samsung made Snapdragon is dusted now.

                                  Nord has a bigger battery 5500mah, M55 has 5000mah.
                                  Now, I know bigger battery doesn't always last longer, courtesy display/OS/hardware, etc. but I'll be able to talk more when I meet the CE4 owner again... Lately, she's not coming around.

                                  About not heating, try video recording or something for 2 minutes or so. Once again, its quite possible you got a good piece by luck.
                                  TSMC has a success rate of 70%~, Samsung has 34%~ or so. So, chances of defective motherboard are more. Lucky for you, you got a good piece.

                                      Anonymous, 30 Apr 2024I hope yours is not an isolated experience and that they in... moreConsidering that this phone launched in March, and we don't even have a Hands-On review, I can conclude only one thing:- The phone is so bad, GSMArena has avoided writing anything and informed Samsung of it.
                                      Even phones launched in April like CE4 have hands on ready.

                                      I go to a big mall store, they have all phones, except M55.
                                      A small mobile store has only 1 piece of M55, and even its retail package (I checked myself) doesn't mention its specs. No mention of 7 Gen 1 at all, like even Samsung knows not to promote it.

                                      GSMArena have avoided being too critical of Apple and Samsung, obviously, but they do maintain reasonable honesty where its visible.. So they just avoided writing anything.

                                        Get a better Oneplus Nord CE4, I'm talking from my personal experience. Better device in all matters, and has a microSD slot like M55 too.

                                        NOTE: M55 has severe overheating and video recording & hanging problems. it maybe a Snapdragon but it is made in Samsung foundry and this shows.
