      Of course samsung will prefer their own chips over tsmc's better options.

        You mentioned that they were taking steps to reduce prices, specifically using the camera as an example. But essentially they cut everything they could everywhere and managed to set the price at 560 euros.
        The phone is not bad if you don’t take into account the price, but pay attention to the competitor in the face of the “Redmi Note 13 Pro” on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, which is almost 2 times cheaper, but 2 times more modern. And before meme writing jokes about Xiaomi, it is worth objectively assessing the capabilities of the 2 companies. Samsung essentially costs nothing to produce some of the components, and Xiaomi is already buying them from the same Samsung to produce its own somehow cheaper and more modern devices. How so.

The ultrawide camera isn't that bad. And the macro camera is where they cut costs for midrangers. Megapixels always don't matter. Samsung's 12 MP won against Xiaomi's 108 MP in 2019.
              The M series never had IP ratings, and might never do (if you need that go for A series).
              Bluetooth 5.2 (the S24 Ultra has 5.3 how much do you expect??) and UFS 2.1 (yes, possibly) aren't that bad either.
              And lastly, this phone was only released in Brazil at first, with a really high price, and which will decrease eventually and will be much lower in other countries like India and others.
