even i was waiting for it to accompany my SGS-II alongside :'(
actually me ithey Bandra service center madhey vicharal tar sammy people here said...they have no idea such qwerty phone exist in their device data !!! :-O :-D !!!
but a mobile shop owner nearby told me he will be getting these few handsets from UK and so does few other shop owners too...basically what he meant was it will be available unofficially here,lets see how it goes...fingers crossed !!! :)

I don't really think gadgetpoint.com si to be trusted, now it once again says this phone will be released first of february, which is today. But it also says the galaxy Y pro will be released too today and this phone was actually released months ago...

I contacted samsung company using "Contact Us" option on their website. I asked them about the release date. They are not at all giving me any information. I went at the Samsung Smartphone Cafe in Thane West. They said that Galaxy M Pro is not for India. Its a very shameful for distinguishing India from other countries. The reason they gave is that QWERTY Android Phones don't get much demand in India. Further they said that in coming two months, they are going to release Samsung Galaxy Y Pro Duos (Dual Sim) Android phone with a qwerty keypad in India. India has recently experienced a tremendous growth in the demand for dual sim phones. People are preferring dual sim phones. With that need taking into consideration, samsung decided to come up with Galaxy Y Pro Duos. Android Dual Sim Phone (2.3 Gingerbread). This phone will cost less than 10000 Rupees as said by samsung as Galaxy Y series is to be focussed on low budget users who want to use android.

I don't want to upset you guys, but on the website mentioned below(gadgetpoint) the release date is 1st of October 2012. I am really pissed off right now. I mean this was the perfect phone for me. It has everything i needed plus a damn good look. My recent phone just crashed so i cant wait for this phone any more. By the way...Samsung WTF? you announced this phone almost a year ago and you want us to wait another? Especially when the world is coming to an end?:D

I was waiting for this since last 5 month when i seen the specification on gsmarena.
but as no official launch date is available i decided to go ahead with any other model and bought sony ericson's experia mini pro.
and i found experia mini pro to be a very nice phone with almost all the features except optical trackpad.
And now happy with experia mini pro.

With a whole lot of web-searching and googling and web browsing, I came across this. I don't know whether it is true. But as per this site www.gadgetpoint.com, The Samsung Galaxy M Pro B7800 is scheduled to release on 10th February 2012. Finally got a ray of hope for me and all the people waiting desperately for this phone. I hope it releases as per mentioned by GadgetPoint.com. Let's wait another few days. reiza, 14 Jan 2012In england about 339 euro. Please review itthis was my first choice but when i compared the price and specs to the xperia mini pro i decided to get mini pro last week instead of waiting for this thing. i am thankful for that.

Thanks for your suggestion DS. I already know about HTC Chacha. But its design did not appeal to me. The Samsung Galaxy M Pro B7800 is the perfect phone which is appealing, which has all the features along with a superb slick design. I just love this phone so I am still waiting for it.
