Great product.
Bought on eaby as replacement (sprint).
My wife loves this one so much ever since she got it (forgot her galaxy s4 completely).

But when I check for software update, it starts downloading....630MB. Is that for android 4.4.2 KitKat or just a new firmware?

The device is just awesome wid big screen a good processor. ...bt samsung should shame dat galaxy mega is not receiving kitkat yet in india as india is a prominent market of them... I m eagerly waiting for kitkat...if it not cums den shld surely go to another brand except samsung....plzzz release a super update of kitkat for this super device soon....

Such a great phone....cannot see any flaw,it has everything. Same in 5.7 inches would be perfect, but then nobody would buy S5 or Note3

shankar, 11 Aug 2014My Mega 6.3 completed 1 year ...... Happy birthday1 year & no kitkat update, now that my battery is draining faster than previously, may need to replace it soon, still no sign of global version Mega 2, might just switch to other brands.
Samsung now equal to slow update & no update.

I am using it nearly 1 year. This is really amazing phablet. I dont want to change it with new models. Infra red sensor is perfect, fits most tv. Battery is more than enough 3200ma. Screen is more than perfect even under sunlight. 4.4.2 is really fast. Highly recommend.

Can you still move apps to memory card with Kit Kat ? Or write on the card with downloaded file manager like Astro ?

Icing on the cake, Mega 6.3 has USB OTG to use memory sticks...such a nice and powerful phone. Love it. But you need big pockets !

I've been using this for almost a month. I was contemplating at first whether to get a note2 or mega 6.3. most of the searches I did say note2 is better but what can I say,mega 6.3 is wonderful. well tbh it kinda takes time to adapt to its size. but overall, this phone is amazing !
