Hey guys! I'm not sure if you knew this already, but you can take screenshots on Galaxy Mini 2, although it doesn't run 4.x Android. Yes, without third party apps!
Hold the Home key, but not too long or you will open the Recent Apps screen. While holding the Home key, press the Power key. And that's it, your screenshot is saved in /mnt/sdcard/SceenCapture directory.
I use the latest unbranded Gingerbread ROM (PDA=S6500DXXMD1 CSC=S6500DOXXMC2) from SamMobile.
