This is best phone compared to galaxy why because kIES released update to gingerbread 2.3.6 so all the issues with this phone are solved
touch,battery,internet,apps all are excellent because now samsung galaxy pop is updated to gingerbread officiall thru samsung software for india users also

Hi samsung mini users.
I have purchased this mobile 3 months ago. My experience of using this phone is wonderful other than battery ..
Good internet connectivity , maps , picture clarity, gaming are excellent.
My mobile's motherboard has been replaced in warranty for 2 times. I tried to update the andriod version to 2.3.5 and 2.3.7, becoz of improper updation motherboard has been damaged.
But now am happy with froyo and not going to update andriod for another 3 months

I prefer you to buy Galaxy Pop when compared to Galaxy Y,because Galaxy Y has some software related problems.......

for those who are considering galaxy y and galaxy mini..
I've tried both units and i'll say that GALAXY MINI IS BETTER. What's only advantageous about galaxy Y is that it's multitouch input method. RAM and processor speed of Galaxy Y exceeds the Galaxy mini's because it's a way to compensate with Galaxy Y's GENERIC GPU. I've tried running similar apps for each unit but GALAXY MINI IS PERFORMING WAY BETTER. :D
