LOW BATTERY BACKUP ISSUE

Got battery problem? Please Understand the situation first before just complaint for something unrealistic judgement. There's so many user complaint about worse android phone battery and then make unfair comparison with Nokia or other brand. User only aware about battery performance and missed the phone specs and feature.
Did you realize Nokia OS is Symbian S60 v9.3 while Galaxy Mini is Android 2.2, both has pros and cons in term of perfomance, User Interface, Application & multimedia. Did you know that the more flexible and powerful OS makes battery drain too fast? Do you know my high-end Galaxy S2 also last only for 1 day? (Of course only 1 day if i use Wifi or GPS for a few hours). Playing 3D games also make battery drain fast, even my PSP Go also can play only 3-4 hours continuosly.
Between both OS, no doubt Android is better than Symbian by the aspect GUI, Theme, Home Launcher, 3d transition /wallpaper, and a lot software provided. Generally speaking more features added on every device will be more power needed (cpu process) and in this case of course battery usage is the main issue.
Nokia has better battery backup because the Symbian OS use low voltage as well as the CPU not too heavy processing the system. The UI only simple which only flip every page just like Symbian 60 ealier edition on smartphone released 3 years ago and not really good as Android.
On my experience using smartphone about 6 years ago i already own 18 pda with various OS like Palm OS, Windows Mobile 5 & 6, Symbian S60 v6,7,8 & 9, Windows Phone 7 and lastly Android OS. What i can say it's normal for pda or smartphone battery consumption only last for 1 day!

You'll have to reinstall your apps also need enter google password again to login android market.

why is there no option for 'use only 2G networks' in my samsung galaxy mini? Help please anyone? Is it found on menu - settings - mobiles networks? I have tried that but it is not there :-(

If necessary find other person to assist you how to copy file into your SD memory. Fyi other user already play those games without any problem.

The different between CUSTOM ROM and STOCK ROM is, custom ROM has more features, various theme, flexible with tweaking system properties for example capable to overclock or underclock CPU (SetCPU & Overclock Tools), built own theme, change the way of system behavior (ON/OFF, Sleep mode, notification or etc) even intergrate with Honeycomb 3.0 features. STOCK ROM (GB 2.3.4) from SAMFIRMWARE is only released to fix previous OS with a few feature added and no major changes to the system launcher / theme.

The games also will be installed to SD card and not to internal memory. Only game NFS: Shift will required about 40MB phone memory because it's a crack one from the original released which actually 120MB. However root device can use app2sd to move file apps from internal to external / SD memory.

Can anyone with this phone let me know what they think of the music playback quality?
I recently purchased a Huawei U8150 IDEOS but have been very unimpressed with the flat sound quality (quite happy with everything else apart from battery life). Just before this I had a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic which I was very happy indeed with the music playback quality.

It's more stable in Gingerbread. I use built in DSP Manager (Custom ROM CyanogenMod 7) where it's very good indeed. If you still on Froyo, you can try search or install 'Audio DSP & EQ Plugin' from Android Market.
