Is samsung galaxy Mini and Pop is Samephone?is g pop is a gsm device......i need to know this bcoz i live in bangladesh...and here i saw in newspaper of samsung dats its galaxy pop...den i called dem...dey said its a gsm phpone all sims can be run...but wen i c in gsmareana den its says its a CDMA device!hellllpppp me !i m totally confused!

Why don't you try new released Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini (or familiar as Xperia mini 2) which is has 1ghz cpu, adreno 205, 5Mp Autofocus Camera (Video 720p) and also ANDROID 2.3 GINGERBREAD. The price selling in Malaysia is about RM720 same range the price as Samsung Galaxy Gio or Ace.

Dear All
Yesterday I bought this Samsung S5570 Phone at Hyderabad Banjarahills CROMA @ 7399 Rs.
Phone edges panel has a Silver cover and front and back with black panels.
Still not yet used.. started now using.. it.. will soon post my Opinions..

Computer virus also not active on android system but SD cards might be corupted by computer virus (worms & trojan) where it's spreading from USB Mass Storage. Scan your SD cards with latest antivirus and then reinstall any corrupted apps again. You may also can try to reset your phone back to 'factory' by open menu - Setting - Privacy - Factory data reset - Reset phone. Other method is to hard reset your phone with a 3 combination key. Good lucks!

Check the setting 'use packet data' and uncheck 'use only 2G networks'. However if you've already done this but no success, then you must refer to your service provider (Telco) in case of your internet / 3g is still pending.

Big disappointment. The plastic screen is flimsy and screams cheap, makes it hard to type properly too. Even as a back up travel phone it's unacceptable. Ended up getting an Acatel OT-908s from O2 UK for when I travel there. Yep, I can't believe I said Alcatel either! But it's a physically superior phone in almost every respect to the Mini especially in screen intergrity quality and has a nice sturdy feel to it. Only disappointment is screen res but for what I need it for it works perfectly.

[deleted post]No, Thanx. I already have more powerful android custom ROM with capability overclocked cpu up to 825Mhz. Not to mention my Galaxy S also overclocked to 1.2Ghz. Only custom ROM with root can do all this. Interested??

WhatisThat, 17 Sep 2011is honeycomb os applicable? or Ice Cream Sandwich osHoneycomb 3.0 or newcoming android 4.0 Icecream Sandwich are pratically not suitable for mobile phone since it has small screen (HD resolution) and a bit slow (i already tried it to my Galaxy S - it's lags!!. Currently Honeycomb only installed at powerful tablet such as Acer Iconia tab.

As alternative you stil can update your phone by flashing stock ROM via Odin. The risk is you'll void the warranty as you can't alter phone firmware by unofficial realeased from Samsung.
