I just wanna ask...what's a better phone...galaxy 5 or galaxy mini...I went to a samsung store, and found out that galaxy mini is cheaper compared to galaxy 5..how's that possible? badly needed your advice guys, because i'm planning to buy one but i'm confused between the two! Thanks!

My new Samsung galaxy Min goes dead after some hours of inactivity. It cannot be turned On normally. The battery had to be taken out to reset it. Once turned On the date and time is in the past. The battery is still having juice its not flat. Brought thud recently in bukit jambul.

Coz i was an ideos user first n i was not satisfied with that phone coz it can play huge games as galaxy mini can, it cant play HD vidoes as MINI can, It dont have good performance as MINi have....

Vjn, 26 Jun 2011sir how do i back up my contacts and if possible the messag... moreYou can backup phone contact, memo, schedule, photo and music/video by usb cable to laptop via Kies software. Just install Kies v2.0 then connect usb cable and system will automatically detect your phone as USB Mass Storage (with Kies Suite USB debugging). Backup your contact or memo by clicking menu 'import/export', choose contacts or memo to backup and then 'Export to PC'. You can backup contact also at menu 'Backup/Restore' but unfortunately there's no option in Kies to transfer or backup the sms messages.

i can't seem to use swype.. i've tried the instructions and adjusted the settings but i can't seem to use it... can someone tell me how? my battery only lasts for more or less 3 hours when playing games on a full charge.. is there something wrong with it or that's just normal on this phone? been using this for 3 days now...

Later you have to connect your mobile through USB port to your computer, through this system you can back up contacts and download songs and other applications. from: Khan S

Can any intelligent user tell me that...does this phone plays HQ youtube videos quality?? Im using IDEOS and it can NOT play HD videos of youtube player, actually it plays little blur and off color! Some times IDEOS displays strange mixed up lines of high quality mp4 files (even not HD) so my question is that does this samsung set has the same issues or it can handle the HQ videos?? i am not talking about the 720p ofcourse ! ;D

Other format can be support too depends on multimedia codecs from third party program such MOBO Player or RockPlayer with capability of hardware and software decoding. Therefore still limited at low-res video below 360p which mean is this phone absolutely cannot play HD 720p video.
It's recommend to play video format MP4, but you can experiment youself by converting a various version video at different size and bitrate then tried to play on Galaxy mini.
