can anyone tell me please if the alarm on galaxy mini works when phone is turned off?? i just bought it today, and i tried the alarm and it s not working, maybe i do not know how to use....cuz if this application doesnt exist on this phone i dont want it anymore....please help me

Awesome phone in this price range and with respect to its features ,must buy for those who want a smartphone but cant spend much...
Battery is not a issue much to be commented on as by others...Smart utilization of the features can be done to compensate with it...
Some must apps that one must have are
1.Astro File Manager
2.Sky Fire Browser(Works with Flash) Android market says not compatible dont worry download .apk and install
3.Winamp
4.Adobe Reader(PDF)

Hi i have bought this phone two weeks ago, and the features was so amazing plus most application runs well believed, i really recommend this phone for people have less budget phone who looks for cheaper complete and practical phone very nice i can rate it 7.8 out of 10 the only disadvantage is the battery because if ur application are all open which relay to the net when its connceted its drain fast, but it was good if you have less aplication running, im from the philippines i bought this for 8,990 pesos and its worth it. thanks samsung keep it up

This samsung galaxy mini or the lg o... morei will never compare lg optimus me with galaxy mini.becoz mini is a way better than lg optimus me.mini has 3.14 inch display but lg me has only 2.8. after that you will get samsungs touch wiz 3.0 which is better than lgs.but you will get better video recording at lg (vga 18 fps).i am using mini trust me fantabolous experience,very fast never hang.

Rap, 28 Apr 2011so its normal that your battery only last for 24 to 34 hrs ... moreMy phone is able to last 3-4 days without charging with normal usage of calling and messaging. I just turn off the background data via setting --> account and sync before I go to sleep, and unbelievable, the phone battery only drop abt 1-2% per night (abt 8hrs) .

Hello,
Does anyone know how to create playlists on that phone from the PC using Kies?
I do it using the program, but it seems like the playlists are created on my PC not on the phone!
So, how do I move the playlist to the phone so that it only plays the songs included in the playlist when I choose to?
