Just create a folder in sd card.
"sdcard/media/audio/alarms" for alarm tones.
"sdcard/media/audio/ringtones" for custom ringtones.
"sdcard/media/audio/notificatins" for settig up sms and notification sounds.
After creating the above folders in sdcard you can place any mp3 or audio files in those folder, and now you can see these ringtones when you browse for changing.

Camera - 5MP for Ace and 3MP for mini
The screen size, and
The processor - 800Mhz for Ace and 600Mhz for mini

I brought it before 2 days and its a quite a good phone, internet is fast good features display is not that bad battery lasts for almost 20 hours i think you should go for it its good value for money.... I purchased it worth 8650 INR

The battery specifications quoted above (1200mAH) is absolutely false! It is a secret and hidden data. You can't find this number in any official release of Samsung, the battery itself does not quote any mAH figure on it, and if you compare the weight and size with other mobile phone brands - you can easily realize that the at best the battery is 800-900mAH.

Hi friend's please help me. As i bought this phone before a week and i am not able to use the phone for more than one day.Between this i charge my phone at night and i can only use the phone for only 4 - 5 hrs i can't use this phone for more than 5 hour's. Is this problem only for me or what i don't know. So please help me guys or should i want to go and ask for a replacement. i not using gps , wi-fi (as i use packet data), sync. AS i only use packet data for downloading apps in the market place.

Ace has Hvga display, which normally supports most android games, while mini has Qvga, which is low, meaning you can't play all games of android in it, which makes me also so confused of what to buy between it and x8.

its a nice fon actually.. but then it would be better if the memory is bigger than the free 2gb.. but nonetheless its a great phone..

I love the fact that the disclaimer says we should check with the dealer to check that the specifications of the phone are the same as on this site.
The funny thing is; I work in a phone shop. Whenever we wanna check the exact specs of a phone, we take a look here. Ha !

I did a lot of research on this phone before i purchased it and frankly its astounding... The software is great, touch screen is super responsive.... Its just blown my mind completely. Buy it and you won't regret it.

guys is this better than galaxy 3? As there have been tiny degrades from resolution, colours, camera , processor & battery life.
And there's been news for froyo on galaxy 3. What's more worth it?
