Are other users experiencing loudspeaker problems too? Or is your case isolated? So you're also having problems in loudspeaker when playing music/radio? If this happens, then its a big drawback.

I was a sad user of x10i....it was a big mistake. i was searching for an affordable android. i use geotagging, maps, gps features like endomondo. i am not a gamer or a looks fanatic. i need functionality. other name of functionality is s5570. i got it two days back and i have stopped using my alternative mobile...with the x10i, i used to flaunt the handset without using it much...the battery would drain within 3 hours of gps use!

But for me who aint hv the ace budget, I prefer Mini, hehe. Really fantastic phone if we see the cost of it.

I just got my little white beauty,very pretty,it was love at first sight, yes the loud speaker is great unless you want your next door neighbour to hear every word you say. it smooth and slick, slides in your pockect easily, please get a cover as I plan to do so. I don't want any scratches on my pretty phone. The camera is great, picture perfect just good enough for me, comes with 2g sd card.I'mstill learning my way around it.One disadvantage it did not come with hands free kit while you chat or listen to music but it's still great value for money on pay as you go deal.If you want to stand out in the crowd get the white one.

speaker-phone sucks to the core, if you see my previous review i have marked this already. When i turned on the speaker-phone it was same as if it was off, i am disappointed in this, i am not sure if this is a software issue or with the hardware.
I already have a Desire-Z from HTC and when i keep both and look at each other, i really appreciate samsung because they have made it possible in almost everything to match mini to a higher-end phone at that price tag

I bought the phone today for Rs.8700 from delhi.
Phone is:
1. Good value for money.
2. It is suitable for rough n tough use.
3. Touch wiz UI is quite appreciating.
4. Runs smooth(with 5-6 applications).
5. Camera and build quality is good.
6. Sound quality is awesome.
Don worry about resolution.. its fine.. go for it..:)

Love this phone....the features you get for the price is awesome[INR 9000].....only bad part is the battery...which last me for a day or so....it has got live wallpapers though :-)

Just got one. Not too fancy but get the job done.
Wifi tethering is super feature. Even my iphone is piggybacking thru this.
And does everything else except making coffee.

Hi,
Which on is better Nokia E5 Vs Galaxy Mini S5570...although android supports lots of apps..so does the symbian...wifi tethering is the only function which is not present in e5..i tested skype in e5 over standard gprs (without 3g and wifi) and it works just gr8..does anyone tested the same in samsung galaxy mini???

How is the loudspeaker in Mini, is it loud enough and clear? How is the camera of Mini without LED?
Would you choose Ace over Mini? They almost have same specs, only that Ace has 5MP, LED, smile detect,better resolution but Ace has a bigger price tag.
Is the resolution of Mini really bad? Or just Ok?

1. There is no LED notification, the one you see near the hear-piece is a Proximity sensor, when you are on a call and when you close it with your ears it locks the screen.
goto Youtube and search "proximity sensor" and you can view a video how it works.
2. if you press too hard on any LCD screen you can see the liquid as the name itself says LCD stands for Liquid crystal display. Dont press too hard you might damage the screen, its a capacitive touch screen, use it gently as the screen is sensitive to your touch.
3. Are you talking about Screen Guards ?
Yes I have installed them, there are special Guards for capacitive touch screen (not normal one's), use them to make it work.

Yes I installed many games and tested and it works fine... some of the games i am playing are Robo defence, Raging thunder, paper toss....
i dont have much time to play games, but there are tons of games on android market place and you can install them in seconds.
