amezing handset by samsung market leader including the build quality the prossesing speed ram camera sound quality and the battery also all the mid renge and the games like frontline cammando,dead trigger r performing preety smooth i'm totally satisfied wid the device

If so then u never tell to me for compare between it & Samsung. First let it see buddy then make any decision. Samsung is making fool to all of us. To the till date if anybody major competitor of Samsung in market then none of other then Micromax, so the reason that Samsung is reducing cost of their cell ph. S Duos (S7562) launching rate was 17.5K & now today (24/7/13) it has sleep down to 9.8K & it is also a very flop set of Samsung u can see the user opinion on that forum. What is it? Means the ppl who had purchased it at starting has been cheated by Samsung company. Thats all. I used wave II, S Plus before yet they were very nice but today ICS & JB cell ph produced by Samsung r totally worst. Even Samsung could not be compete with MMX Canvas series cell ph. Totally crap in my view.

And please don't compare samsung with alcatel, it is too much of an ignorance over the maintenance of your phone. Just explore and learn more and more techniques to speed up your phone, you might get your problem fixed.

Well! I am using this phone from 5 months and would like to say that if those who are looking for a 3g phone with ICS 4.0, 1300mhz battery, with amazing feather touch capacitive touchscreen, good quality camera 3.2MP, 32gb expandable and the amazing sound quality with SRS surround and SRS WOW HD, even Sony Xperia Series failed to produce such Sound. The In-ear headset of samasung give me the true sound with pure Bass that experience like you are listening through Woofer. Also those who are looking for JELLY BEAN than samsung had already provided the jelly bean update for single sim variant of this model S6010 and in coming months SAMSUNG will provide JB update for this dual sim variant also. So, close your eyes and buy this phone.

What we mentioned wrong about Music Duos? Can u move apps to external sd? Can u play HD video without any lag? Can u run subway surfer on it? & so..so..? Music also sometimes paused due to RAM bussy. What our hard luck in it? Even Idea cell ph. mfr. Alcatel (model no. not known) is far better, much much better then Music Duos & its fulfill every requirement very smoothly which I had mentioned above & cost only around 7K. Music Duos is totally wasted cell ph.

This phone is too good question y ? I tell you this phone i buy only 5000 think that in this phone all thing . As gps , ics, and 3g but only clean ram and it go and give good perfomance
Think asha 501 no gps, no 3g no smartphone and that 5000price samsung music is very good sound with srs and fm on without handsfree .. and that price on outer brand give better phone than music so read

Sony's entertainment features are unquestionable and uncomparable. But when you compare a low end xperia (xperia tipo for instance) with galaxy music, samsung will win. Xperia tipo costs almost same as galaxy music (as on 22nd July, 2013). As long as entertainment is concerned, sony is far better. But, it has some network issues.

For ur kind info i m using Music Duos since Feburary 2013. In starting it was awesome but now it lag a lot, subway surfer not supported in it, even angry bird is hanging down & 512MB RAM have being always bussy. Just seem that keep on to cleanup RAM every time. Processor also 850MHz & cant play HD video & if tried then play only 480p tipyclay with frams drop, its only able to play MP4 video. Better way I had provide it to my wife & now I m luking any other ph & surley I'll go for Sony Xperia M the great features phone.

But it faces some problems in voice calling and network issues. If you are looking for a device for less calling and more entertainment, then go for xperia tipo. But if you need frequent calling and messaging, go for samsung. In low budget, samsung galaxy series is better than sony xperia series. If you could raise your budget over 15 k, then I would suggest you to go for sony xperia.

That's why samsung bundles 2 gb of user accessible phone memory. Apps like "apps2sd" have failed. So the only option available is to "root" the phone.
I'm surprised that you haven't yet known about "rooting". Well, it is a process by which all the features of android are unlocked. As android is an open source platform, rooting allowes an android user to experiment with the OS and to make global changes. It is as risky and serious as it sounds. (I have mentioned the risks associated with rooting in my previous comment).
So, it is not recommended for average users.
And the reason why sony provides that option is just because they have optimised the OS. Android is open source, so every phone brand can develop or modify the OS interface if they wish. That's why android ICS looks drastically different in samsung and sony. Samsung optimises it for TouchWiz UI, whereas sony optimises it for TimeScape UI.

Pick any cell ph of Sony Xperia, each & every ph r either ICS or JB. Mostly r JB now a days but u can move apps to external sd easily, option r given for it in every Sony Xperia ph. By the way what is meaning of "root" & how to do in a cell ph.? Kindly reply.
