love my galaxy nexus, its fast, big, and the screen so nice, and even so clear... love it so much.. i enjoy the screen.. except for the battery, kinda fast to low bat, i bought extra mobile charger...

You should check through your settings. then go to the last option (about phone) there and choose System updates. It should then update OTA (over the air). If not you can choose software look up XDA developers ;)

If you want to get updates from google directly, you need to get the 'takju' (for US) or 'yakju' (international variant).
If you don't feel comftorable working with ADB and rooting the phone manually, use this toolkit - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1392310

I bought this phobe today and it is running ics 4.0.1 so how will I upgrade it to 4.0.4 is the update released for this device because when I touch on check now it says phone system update is up to date plz help me??

I got this super smartphone just two days back . I am getting very good internet surfing and downloading experience in 2g network as well and also getting battery backup of 24hours (in android 4.04) which is better than my earlier s2 . Can somebody help me to find the best video player because this handset does not support some high end video formats ?
