Samsung Galaxy Note20+ bags 3C certification

Yesterday we came across detailed CAD renders of the upcoming Galaxy Note20+ and now the same phone was spotted in the database of the 3C certification agency. Coming with the SM-N9860 model number the certified unit is believed to be the Chinese version of the upcoming phablet.


The listing reveals the phone will support 5G connectivity as well as 25W wired charging.

According to speculations, the Galaxy Note20+ will sport a 6.87-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 3096x1444 pixel resolution. The back is expected to feature a square cutout similar to the S20 Ultra with a 108MP main shooter and a 64MP telephoto module but no periscope. We also know the battery will come in at 4,500mAh and the phone is believed to release in August.

There is more to a camera than aperture size. Besides, at long zoom range, 5x and above, wider or larger aperture size will result in softer, less sharp images. Hence the use of f/3.5 and above with a smaller aperture.

How? Periscope cameras usually have an aperture of f3.5 and above, while telephotos don't go beyond f2.4 in the worst cases. If you're referring to huawei's phones, the p40 pro can give you 5x zoom usable image in dark scenes, but that's due to their...

It has periscope camera just surrounded by this ring , it has square shape like p30 pro and it means they still using 4x optical zoom but getting rid of 100x
