Verizon's Samsung Galaxy Note20 series get new camera features
The Samsung Galaxy S10 locked to Verizon's network recently got a new software update which bumped up the Android security patch level on the smartphone to April 2021 and brought new camera features. Those same features have made their way to Verizon's Galaxy Note20 5G and Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G along with the April patch and new background effects for the Portrait Mode.
Here's the full changelog of the new update for the Note20 duo:
- Pro Mode – Ultra Wide
- Ultra wide lens is now available in Pro and Pro Video camera modes.
- Portrait – Mono/Backdrop Effects
- Change the background for Portrait shots using the new High-Key Mono, Low-Key Mono, and Backdrop effects.
- Auto Night Mode
- Photo, Portrait, and Hyperlapse camera modes now automatically detect low light conditions and turn on Night mode for optimal quality.
The new build for the Galaxy Note20 5G sports version number N981USQU2DUCA while the firmware for the Ultra model has version N986USQU2DUCA. The updates are rolling out over the air and if can't wait for the update notification to pop-up on your smartphone, you can navigate to its Settings > Software update menu to check for it manually.

I mean you did root your phone, which means anything can go wrong... Also, we don't have the specifics of how you rooted your phone, so it's difficult to help over the internet
