Note 7 used to be popular. Now it exploded due to excess overheating battery.

Had a former co worker own one. She never wanted to give it up till she went on a cruise and couldn't take phone on the ship. I have seen a YouTuber that repairs phone make one safe to own and fully usable software. I just wish I could own a fan edition. I will be content with a S24 Ultra because I hear the S25 series is getting a price jump.

Bombs aside, this is actually quite decent for its time and price. Sure, some options are cheaper but its only because it has a pen and it's samsung.

A, 09 Aug 2024Samsung Galaxy boom 7If the phone had a good battery, then the phone would have been discontinued in 2020-2022 because it has Android 6 and Grace UX (aka TouchWiz 7).

Not sure what I was expecting when checking the comments on this phone. 😅
The thing I don't understand that much, is Samsung batteries were (I say were, I'm not really sure if they still are) known for causing more fires/explosions than other batteries. Is there something specific about the Note 7 that caused it to explode?
Other than that silly question, I have one thing to say:
Boom.
Hehe.

Amazing that Samsung was able to get away with this. Meanwhile LG were forever tarnished because some of their phones had bootloop.
