I would suggest that you people look at the new Acer Liquid S2 an alternative choice to Note 3 and is launching in Oct '13 This is a fantastic phone with high spec. 2 speakers with DTS sound enhancement, 6 inch screen, beautiful design and a card slot for 128GB of memory. Wonderful phone, forget about Note 3 with day light robbery price.

I'm just amazed at how the initial pricing is. I know we need to just wait for it to come down in a couple of weeks. It's costing near to a medium performing gaming notebook, and I'm pretty sure the Gear watch isn't as useful if you think about it. Although I like the fact you can take quick pictures with its low 2mp camera and that's the major feature that outdoes the Sony Smartwatch. The Gear is quite steeply price at $300.
I desire this device. I can get it for my upcoming service contract renewal as I need the unlimited data anyway. If you really don't need this, you have every option of not to pick it up. The Note II is currently the best performing device in terms of performance, battery stamina and productive versatility. This is till the Galaxy Note III comes out.

Maybe if you guys cant afford the Ferrari you should look at a Camry?

For those saying wait for a few months, tell me how much longer are we gonna wait before we buy common phone? Many people (me inclusive) have waited so long for this phone and now the price is a joke. What do I do? Wait for another 6 months, then s5 will become the topic, then we enter talks of Note4, then I wait again and again and again until I won't buy anyone. Samsung failed it with the price of this device qed.

Very expensive smartphone,but within one year price will come down significantly as what happened to note1,note2,gs1,gs2,gs3.Please wait 4 price drop do not buy now.Again i am waiting 4 iphone 5s release price 2 compare with. The price should not be more than iphone 5s 16gb at launch.

Seriously people. It's called technology. The note 3 is currently the best phone on the market. The initial price is always high and rapidly drops.... It was the same for all the previous notes and galaxy s phones. Stop whinging, just wait a few months and the price will drop but so will the value of your current phone.

Please don't buy this phone. Only 3gb ram and 32gb in built memory, nothing else. No 4k video, no snapdragon. Price Rs. 50,000? Indian, please reject this phone. Don't weast your hard earned money. I am sure, samsung will lose huge customers for this type of priceing. Actually the phone will be priced within Rs. 45,000. When the price will come down to Rs. 45000, then buy. Otherwise stay away from this phone.
Samsung is cheating Indians. Please don't be cheated.

Note... moredude, to be correct, the Android will not using the same initial letter for their vesion twice (noted that 'K' already used in Kit-Kat), hence the next will be 'L' for the next version (probably for 5.0 veraion).
