In f... moreIn S4 that much of brightness just can be accessable in auto brightness mode.The reason is that much brightness is not suitable for Oleds and makes pixels degrading for screen and but Samsung made that for higher score in sunlight readability,no matter if pixels degrade or colors shift.IPS ROCKS!

In fact the Note 2 is pentile and it IS in fact the same tech in the S4 and now the Note 3. It's their newly developed pentile that rearranges the pixels to be better set up and appear not pentile when they are....
And the S4 gets up to somewhere between 34-37% brighter in direct sunlight when in auto brightness as compared to manual brightness. It's to save battery. Amoled is much less reflective. It takes LCD screens that are 100-200 nits brighter to score the same or slightly better. So imagine how good the Amoled works when it's almost just as bright. Plus the high contrast levels actually make up for some of the brightness difference.

Hi do you all have this problem i just brought the Note3 it is so hot like iron and have smoke.. anyone have this problem ??? and how to solve i do not wish to send back berlin to repair as i go back my country already

i dont get it's, design, features, and performance scores so low compared to Sony Xperia Z1 yet its has greater popularity, i guess people are blinded for Samsung commercial not so good

this phone is the best so far. I dont see any other device that has such features. it is full of features, the only downside for some people will be the size.
