no 16gb version thats a cool thing... dimensions are almost similar to note2 but even slimmer n fits a bigger screen...

I personally love Android specially because of Samsung.
Yes iPhone have a more premium finish and its OS is bug free and consumes less hardware but in next few months Android will also make its OS really efficient.
But Microsoft has pre-planed everything they are doing whatever they want to. This is a fun fact that if Microsoft launches something today, they have created it about 10 years ago.
If you don't believe tell me who have seen 1 TB Flash USB Drive Nowadays????
It have been built before 2000 but will be issued when Microsoft decide to do so.
These people are playing with your mentality. They cannot release everything on the same day cux they wants to have continuous profit from you. And there is no doubt that we are Idiots.

Of course it indicates something.....It's quite simple actually. It's something newer to develop for. It has not been around as long. Especially since they changed from windows mobile to WP. It's just a new option that is emerging and growing.

For the next few years Android will have pretty decent market but Windows is a big challenge for Android. Apple's iPhone is almost over but windows is growing really fast on application side and it is for sure that in 2020 Windows will be on top.
I am a software developer and all my friends who were working on Android and Apple had already started making Windows Applications which indicates something.

Tomorrow is the biggest day 4th September.
I bet everyone one of you that its screen will 0.18" bigger than note 2 but its size will be smaller than note 2. Just like S4 is smaller than S3 in size but have bigger display.
I love Samsung's Plastic Quality but they have so much pressure from above to give it metal finishing and even premier look.
Have been waiting for it since half a year.

I think the days of revolutionary devices (like the original iphone) are probably gone. While the Note 3 will be top of the pile when released it wont be much ahead of the competition and will no doubt be passed in the next 6 months. That's technology for you.

2) scratch proof phones don't exist, waterproof is mostly a gimmick.
3) Haven't you seen the bezel? It almost doesn't exist. Any less and you keep touching the screen.
4) Android 5 doesn't exist
5) 4k is over kill, OIS would be nice, MP on a camera dont mean much.
6) Carbon fiber back would be nice. You can buy these aftermarket for the Note 2 so they will be available for the note 3.

Also I don't think the carbon fiber would shatter that easy. It is definitely durable and much better option as compared to glass/aluminum....But like you stated so is Poly Carbonate.

AnonD-97854, 03 Sep 2013Been a Galaxy s2 user since its release, That was a revolut... moreThe problem with all that is no manufacturer can do a phone without a bezel strong and cheap enough yet, You can't make it waterproof and have removable battery, Andriod 5.0 is nowhere near finished and carbon fibre would shatter if you dropped the phone because it's only strong in certain ways and polycarbonate is still by far the best material for a big phone.

Been a Galaxy s2 user since its release, That was a revolutionary device when I bought It and they proudly sported a line saying It was the world's best smartphone and so it was.
I think, for Note III to be a revolutionary device, it should have been loaded with at least
* 6' screen
* Scratch/ Waterproof.
* Literally no bezel at all
* Android 5.0
* All those rumored 4k camera, OIS with atleast 16mp back and a HD front Camera and underwater recording(wasn't rumored).
* Also a showstopping carbon fiber back panel- Just to shut the arguments and fights about plastic and metal.
Trust me!! all the above isn't too much to expect at all..
