But It would be to costly and trust me, Service center isn't doing anything in this problem. Its a hardware issue and they will ask you to change motherboard or like that which costs a half of the device value.
Try hard resetting your Note Edge from recovery and see the results. If problem persist then better Idea to sell/exchange it!

So if i send it back to get serviced from uk it will take weeks to get it back. How long would it take to reach hong kong from uk?

My advice is to check CSC to confirm which country your edge belongs. Go to SamMobile, Enter Model & Download 5.1.1 lollipop. 90% problems are shaved off in 5.1.1! Good luck :)

put fully charged battery in note edge. but have to leave back cover off to cool it down. im gona take it to a place in town and get them to check it for me. i do like my note edge and i also like my note 3. and note 3 dosnt heat up r1.

Yeah just got told that lol:) Honestly checked this edge again altho its good phone which i like has heated up so much i can hardly hold it. Du speed booster came up sayimg temp is hign cool phone. So i pressed it and its still overheating argh. It gets worse when my battery goes to 29% ive noticed. So gona go and put full charge battery in and see how it goes r1.

Im hoping note 6 come with sd card which ive been reading it will and hoping removable battery. Other wise i will be staying with note 3 and note edge and using 128gb in both phones. And note edge battery life is great and dpending how often im on my note 3 battery life isnt bad. And extra good batteries for both phones to make sure i dont run out when i go out:)

There is no chance for device stuck on 5.0.1 will be updated to 5.1.1 for now. As they are planned upgrade straight to 6.0.1 so you have to wait longer! Or just flash it! :)

But so far it hasnt done it today. But it could start again. But like i said my note 3 dosnt have the problems n900 model has. So alls good with note 3 n9005. But its a shame that model n900 has so many problems. I hope it gets updated to solve the problems.
