i have m8 and that is same works like you are saying. But note3 doesn't work while it is locked.
I must enter pin to unlock before putting to silent or vibrate mode.
Do you or anybody else have idea? it is not convenient or easy way to do quickly.

Your own words is exactly how you use your Note.5:

Who turns on GPS ALL the TIME? Who sets the screen to MAXIMUM? And claims almost 1.5 days of use... Sheesh.
Incredible, except your top battery use goes to Android OS (10%), Cell Standby (6%), and Android System (4%). It just shows a steady CONSISTENT decline of LOW battery use. There are a few drops, but only for a short period of use. And there's NO screen on usage that prove that you kept your usage MINIMAL. You obviously taken down your picture of your own battery screen shot. Fortunately, I made a copy set of your miraculous battery use:

Anyone can inspect the image for it being fake - there's nothing wrong with it. There's no editing involved. You can't even show us an actual screen on usage time.
Note 3 is certainly most excellent in the battery department. My actual screen usage can actually go up as much as 30-40% of power usage and can give me up to 8 hours with internet and YouTube in a span of more than 12 hours. Not the 3 to 6 hours you claim the Note 3 to only lasting per charge.

My model is n9005 and i just turn volume button down and it goes to vibrate. I use it and i get calls and mgs on vibrate even on lockscreen. And i agree note 3 is nice and light to hold in hand which is good 55bit:)

Ive got snapdragon and altho i just play a few games it dosnt lag. Ive snapdragon on note edge to. But read up on google about it and then decide which to pick. It might be the same with exynos as ive never had exynos.
