I don't see any reason to upgrade, unless you love the visual changes and new s-pen menu, or you're experiencing bugs with an older version of anrdoid. Some people don't have a "silent mode" on their phone, so I can understand why they'd need to upgrade. Overall though, I don't get what all the hype is about. Maybe some new features will matter more to you, so it's worth researching at least.

how can i cancel system update?
Every time that i need to update the system it appear on top and I cant remove it. When I am connected to wifi its voluntarilydownloading. So i have nochoice to update the system.

Today my note 3 get update of 208.48MB it's carry new smart manager system and extended battery life upto 3.13hrs it's really good, maharashtra India

What's the big deal about Android 6.0 Marshmallow? I watched some videos and read articles about it, but there isn't a single new feature that I gotta have on my Note 3. Don't care about the aesthetics because I customize my phone with nova launcher, icon packs, and zooper widgets. Google Now on Tap? Who cares. App Standby? I have Greenify. Silent Mode? I already have it. As for this new feature called Doze... "...the battery savings are phenomenal. Where other devices lose an average of 15-25 percent of battery life overnight, Marshmallow can take that down to 3-5 percent." My phone only loses 2-3% overnight, so Doze won't be particularly helpful to me. The only neat feature is how the S-pen menu has changed, but I rarely use the menu so...yeah. I don't feel like I'm missing anything big.

Anonymous, 08 Dec 2015So anyone did the note 3 208 mb update? what changes does ... moreThat last update nothing changed. The update i got before that an extra app appear called smart manager. Think some users got it in that update few days ago. Appart from that i find nothing else has changed.
