i would rather have a high end smartphone no matter the price. Thats my choice personally. As for getting back to note 3 form its still good note coming . 4 yrs ive owned it. I hope other note 3 users will continue to enjoy it for as long as it lasts:)

And Huawei is deff overated. Im sure there are ppl who like Huawei phones. But i personally dont. For me samsung still wins.

No much competit... moreLOL,the Chinese budget phone's dominate the market,great cameras and latest software in them for less than 100 bucks,at that price you can buy one every 6 months not that you need to,but Samsung will never dominate the market like they use to, over priced rushed problematic phone's they rushed out,(note 7 and note edge come to mind) ?

It's the brand you get if you're not buying an iPhone. Now things have changed Chinese smartphone are fierce competition and actually have over saturated the market with its iPhone copy phones. Huawei is the most overrated brand today. Biased reviews and high level of marketing have put them at the top. Samsung high pricing and less value have cost them to lose out on the mid range segment for many years now. Flagship phones from Samsung is helping the company. It won't change the fact that Samsung is the best Android company and the only company that have given apples iPhone a serious competition.

I certainly like note 3 on 5.0. Its smooth amd have had no problems. So why if your unhappy with note 3 are you on the forum. Do you own note 3 now? Or you did own it? What phone do you use now if you dont mind me asking?

                    Dont agree Anonymous!. Its not writin in stone when a phone is turned 4 yrs is old. its still working and doing the samething it has since i owned it. It outlasted my other phone note edge. And still good for internet, youtube , whattapp etc etc etc . So until it falls apart i will keep using my nice note 3. And appearence wise it still looks good. I take good care of my note 3 and happy to say no dents, scratches or cracks anywhere. I wont part with my note 3. And no matter what you say it doesnt apply to me! Best note to date.

                      This phone is rubbish now,you need custom ROMs to bring this back to life, Samsung abandoned this old model years ago,

                        Samsung will be here for a long time. It will die out.. No matter what , samsung do make the best smartphones. They broke the mold when they brought out the note series. Enjoy your note 3 as i am my friends:)

This phone has stood the test of time. mine is still going great since 2014. Itts outlasted my note edge. Luv everything about it. I cant part with my note 3. Like ive said in other comments this is my best note to date still going strong :)

                                        I have Note 3 since it was released (almost 5 years) and this is still working as day 1.
                                        The battery (still the one that came with phone) does for sure 6hrs on high usage at street with LTE, and at home using WiFi it lasts the whole day.

                                        My brother have the iphone 6, and its a great phone too, but the screen is very small, and the battery is not that easy to replace in comparison with Note 3 (+1 for Note), the pictures taken on iphone are better than the ones in Note 3 (+1 for iphone 6).
                                        I have just updated the OS to Android 7.1 using a custom rom from LineageOS which works great, very quick, beautiful and it does not hang at all, it works like a new brand phone, so I wont change it until it is dead.

                                        In my opinion, I would go for Samsung once again, however, it depends on the usage you will give to each phone and your OS/applications preference.
