Both have their own set of problems once something goes wrong with the software which is common now a days with Samsung nothing can be done they will make you fool by sending you to the sevice center. Then you will have to wait for the next update which will come may be after 3 months or 5 months . wait for 2 months some very good phones are coming from chinese companies.

because the d... moreCell is receiving full signals where? You need to check the reception on a variety of locations, not just one. When I was home with my G3 it would have more than enough signal, full what I mean, but as soon as I used to go to some places where signal isn't really strong, the G3 would be the first phone to lose reception. Honestly I would have never found it out either, unless the client I was meeting asked me to give him a missed call so that he can save my number. You don't know how it feels to take out a so called flagship phone like G3 from your pocket and be dead embarrassed in front of someone who was holding a Asus ZenFone, yeah a phone at one third price had reception, where G3 would fail. Even for that one day I didn't believe it, blamed Vodafone, mentally, I knew something was wrong, and then monitoring the phone for next six days was way more than enough to bear that awful experience. Bye, forever. The Nexus 5 I had had EXACTLY same issue, but I didn't care, cause I read about the problem on XDA beforehand, but this G3 thing I didn't expect.
This is just one of the reason why I absolutely loathe LG products (yeah all of them). They simply can't make finished products, there just has to be some kind of cheapness involved, and I absolutely hate cheapness.
Still, if you find G3 as per your needs, go for it.
But if there is a question, which one is better, G3 or Note 3? The question seems is laughable, because honestly those can't even be compared, other than the fact that G3 does have a better camera, but then again if that's the only thing which makes a mobile phone.

You dont have to open cover to answer calls or receive texts mgs. There are lots of covers you can buy out there. Just check in amazon. But S View is great. Protects ypur phone.

Regarding case for note 3
I bought my note 3 few days back and have added amzer hard glass screen protector and also bought Spigen neo hybrid case, but i feel the case is too bulky on this huge phone and overall width is also increased. Though Spigen provides good protection but i was thinking of alternative to this.
So can you all suggest what type of cases you all use or do i really need a case, thanks for your replies.

because the dealer from whom I'm going to buy this set is giving me 6 months warranty, If any thing goes wrong he is gonna return it...
secondly there is too much difference between the price of both what do you say about that?
